Eye-opening
This book was eye-opening. A new perspective to look at yourself and break out of your internal jail. It could be a way to reach harmony. However, I feel like I will need to read one more time :)I have been recommending this book to all my friends that have an interest in self-reflection.

An amazing book!!
Your Many Faces is a book that inspires you to look within you to bring out all emotions and use them for the greater good. Every emotion within you, which she calls faces should work together to give a healthy balance to the human being. Loved!

Virginia Satir
Virginia Satir has a distinctly feminine way of thinking and writing. I liken reading her books to the time spent at the beginning of meetings run by women who want to "go around the table and introduce ourselves to the group, state our names and say why we are here today" rather than the actual informational, factual portion of the meeting. Satir is artsy, warm and fuzzy but not worth my time and money. Satir came very highly recommended to me by a woman who is a psychotherapist by profession; but Satir is not my cup of tea. I did not gain anything from this book.

Should be read by everyone!
This book is awesome! Really hit home about how we each have different faces for particular people, places, etc. Easy to understand, and I'm sure everyone who reads it will have their own "aha!" moment! This would be great for high school seniors to read... they could avoid so much misery later in life by learning early on how to be themselves responsibly and with contentment.

Acceptance of many places of self is the key to harmony with the world
Really enjoyed this book, recommended by my therapist. In a drama-play way it takes you on the journey to discover many faces/ parts of you that can be acknowledged and though that hold key to a balanced life. Read this if you want to understand wholeness and healing.

nice, inspiring
As is my own nature, I resisted some advice here, and other times found it refreshing and inspiring. Like any travel adventure, it was the appreciation of beauty inside, and out that brought me joy. It addresses the first step, but is a dangerous book with out the grounding of a coherent world view though - and I fear that is why much of the beauty of what is said is lost on deaf ears. Balance is impossible without A coherent world view must address: how we come to be here at all; where we are going; what we are we to do; and what is morality. This book talks about one multifaceted aspect of what are we to do, the other three aspects provide a balanced cohesive world view.
