It took the edge of the headache but, it burned the nostrils beyond belief. I would not recommend it to anyone. My nostrils burned unbelievably for hours. So I had to still deal with the migraine plus the added nostril pain. Avoid it!

I am very happy with Ausanil. I have had migraines for 40 years and have tried everything - prophylactic meds, Botox, prescription painkillers, Imitrex, DHE, and Migranal. Migranal had been my go-to painkiller, but it has become ineffective and horrendously expensive. I saw Ausanil here at Amazon and thought "what do I have to lose?" I got my first bottle 3 weeks ago and it helps me manage my migraines better than other painkillers. Ausanil makes the pain go away almost immediately. At first I was experiencing rebound with it after 1 1/2 or 2 hours. So I decided to repeat a dose of Ausanil every hour (while awake) until the migraine was gone. That has worked for me to effectively kill a migraine. Because Ausanil is homeopathic, I can repeat doses without worry. Once I hit menopause, my migraines would last 3 days minimum. The worst migraine I have had since adding Ausanil to my toolkit, lasted about 1 1/2 days, the pain that did persist was on a scale of 2 or 3 out of 10 (10 being highest pain level). There is definitely a stinging sensation when you first administer Ausanil. It makes me sneeze and sometimes makes my eyes water, but these are short lived and tolerable, especially when you consider that you get positive results from the product. After repeated use, the stinging is sometimes imperceptible.

Unfortunately this spray did not work for me. I read ALL the reviews, knew it would sting a lot with the first use, knew not to breathe in, but my migraine got worse.I have suffered bad migraines since 2004. I've been on topimax for a year and it didn't help. I take imitrix when I get a migraine.When rhe product arrived a video was sent to my email from the Dr. that invented the spray. I did exactly as directed. I used 3 different times with in ten days. The sting does lessen with each use. I wished it worked for me. It will clear your airways out.If you have migraines, you'll try anything. Maybe this will work for someone.The stinging is very bad, but if you're preoared for it at least you know. Do not breath in and let the spray go to your throat or it will burn. Just spray, hold your breath, breath out. Good luck.

I bought this from a recommendation in an article I read re: migraines. I have only had to use it once, but it was VERY effective. The hardest thing to remember is to NOT 'sniff' like one might be used to with sinus sprays when using this. The next is to not be handling/rubbing eyes during or after use without washing your hands really, really well. Great product and very effective for the same or less than most of us would have to make as a copay for a dr visit, and come out with way less relief!!

I've gotten migraines for the last 30 years and this is one of the best non-chemical products I've tried (and I've tried a lot.) Depending on the severity of the migraine, I've gotten relief for a longer or shorter time; sometimes I need to use the spray multiple times and take medication for the migraine to pass. However 100% of the time I've gotten complete relief for 10-30 minutes after using Ausail spray, which is a huge deal for me if I need to drive somewhere or make it through a presentation or other event. The product does sting badly (although less pain than a migraine!), and for me it's worse the worse my migraine is. Although the product literature says the stinging will decrease with multiple usages, I haven't necessarily found that to be the case.

I had great success with this product. First off I knew I had to pay close attention to the instructions. Amazon sent a follow up email after I ordered it addressing the specific instructions. Of course you don't know when you're going to get a migraine. When I got mine I could not see because I get the eye aura first. I had my husband read me the directions. I definitely took too much and or inhaled with the first nostril. It was not pleasant. However the second nostril was fine. And minutes later I was free of the eye aura and the headache, when I felt a little headache coming in hours later I used it again without a problem. Even if I had the unpleasant moment all the time it would be worth it to feel good and have my day back. In the past a migraine meant I was debilitated for at least a day. I felt free from pain from this product and it's not that hard to master it - first time may be tricky - but it's well worth it. I want to share this solution to all migraine suffers! Quick relief and no nausea!

I used Ausanil for the first time ten minutes ago. Oh boy, did it ever sting! My eyes watered. I blew my nose and sat quietly, waiting to see how long the intense burning would last. It was about six minutes later that the stinging got better and the migraine I've had for about twelve hours stopped hurting. I think six minutes of stinging is better than twelve hours of migraine pain. This spray is amazing! It works!! And you can drive and think clearly after taking it. With my usual migraine meds, I can't drive or think clearly after taking it. Chronic migraine sufferers will benefit from this spray. READ DIRECTIONS...DO NOT INHALE THE SPRAY! It will burn more...

I have had migraines for 37 years. I've tried everything. In the past I have used SINOL M and Sinus Plumber brand natural nasal sprays for migraines. I bought this because it is more concentrated and is supposed to work better. It's a very tiny bottle for the price (0.27 ounces as opposed to other brands at 0.68 ounces). The other two brands I mentioned can be purchased for fifteen dollars or less (and they actually work). I followed instructions for this spray. This did not work. It made my migraine worse. It felt like it made a hole in my brain. I returned the product for a refund.
