The Original P.W.A.H Pillow with a Hole - For Ear Pain and Pressure Sores

I love my Original Pillow With a Hole (P.W.A.H)! After 3 years of sleeping on a travel pillow, I can sleep on a pillow again! I am a side sleeper and have multiple cartilage piercings in varying stages of healing, in both ears. I have been using this pillow for over 2 months and the hole for the ear allows me to easily switch sleeping sides and I can sleep on my back comfortably as well because it’s an actual pillow! The ear hole also decreases the irritation that comes from accidentally sleeping on piercings and my piercings are looking and feeling much better. The fact that the pillow’s firmness can be individualized was a big factor in my decision to purchase it. At first the pillow was too firm for me, but per the manufacturer’s instructions, I removed some of the filling & manipulated the remaining stuffing to have the correct firmness and the pillow is perfect (I saved the filling in case I need to use it in the future). The P.W.A.H. came with a nicely made, soft white cotton pillowcase that feels great against my face. It stays in position on the pillow pretty well as I change sleeping positions during the night. I wash/rinse it in cold water on the delicate cycle and air dry it and no shrinkage has occurred. I have ordered a second pillowcase in Deep Marine and am looking forward to receiving it. Though the pillow is smaller than a standard pillow, it is bigger than a travel pillow, and works just as good as a standard sized pillow; I actually like the smaller size better for sleeping on. I also bought the travel size Original P.W.A.H. and love it too! If you have cartilage piercings, this pillow is well worth the cost! I highly recommend it to my friends and anyone who reads this review :)

Das Kissen ist super verarbeitet. Ganz prima, dass man die Füllung anpassen kann und vielleicht später, wenn es sich sehr zusammengedrückt hat, wieder auffüllen kann. Entlastet das Ohr und verhindert damit einen Dekubitus.Habe mir ein 2. in England beim Hersteller bestellt, das ist wasserabweisend, so muss man es nicht so oft waschen. Dazu auch farbige Bezüge. Sehr netter Kontakt, absolut freundlich. Antwortet direkt, sehr hilfsbereit. Toller Laden.

Avendo un problema di esostosi ad entrambe le orecchie ho la necessità non doverle appoggiare su un tradizionale cuscino dal momento che dormo sempre su un fianco o sull'altro.Nel tempo ho avuto modo di provare diverse tipologie di ciambelle su cui appoggiare il capo, tutte purtroppo alquanto dure o troppo piccole, ora grazie a questo prodotto ho trovato la soluzione al mio problema.Infatti il cuscino è fatto di un materiale che ha caratteristiche simili alle piume ed è rivestito di cotone di ottima qualità, è sufficientemente rigido per cui non si sprofonda ma non troppo rigido, quindi al mattino non mi sveglio con la cervicale indolenzita, inoltre ha il foro decentrato che consente di trovare una giusta posizione d'appoggio.In assoluto è il miglior prodotto da me, fino ad oggi provato, lo consiglio vivamente, inoltre viene fornito di una fodera in cotone intercambiabile, però consiglio di acquistarne almeno un ricambio per poterla lavare con regolare frequenza.Ne sono veramente soddisfattissimo, complimenti.

This pillow is great for relieving pressure on the ears and especially for preventing or reducing ear pain whilst sleeping. The hole is designed to be spacious and accommodating for different ear sizes and positions and completely removes the pressure a regular pillow would apply to your ears at night; I frequently encounter ear pain and discomfort at night due to my piercings and the PWAH completely prevented this from happening when I slept on it. The only thing I would say is that the pillow could have been a little softer and lower in height for me, and if they aren't already available it would be interesting to see a variety of these specifications offered. All in all a great pillow for those suffering ear pain or discomfort.
