Highly recommended
Great product. The install is not bad if you take your time and follow the instructions (but it could get hairy if you rush and refuse to read). Sound quality is great. Controls could be better, but are certainly good enough.Battery life is plenty for me. My commute to work is 15 - 20 minutes, and I go home for lunch, so I drive about an hour per day (there in morning, back for lunch, there after lunch, back at night = 15x4). I usually ride the bike about 3x per week, sometimes every day. I can easily go multiple weeks without recharging. In fact, I think I only recall charging it twice, and I have owned it for nearly 6 months. Maybe 3 charges. Regardless, it is plenty.

Good unit for the price
Unit works well. Sound is good. Haven't used it yet to take a phone call. But don't anticipate any problems. They should have placed the charging port on the outside of the unit. Would be much easier to plug in/unplug.

Loud
Works good. People can hear me and it’s loud on a loud bike going down the road

A great intercom, with great Bluetooth features!
The intercom works quite well, as long as I have line of sight, it seems to work clear for just under half a mile, and if it's not line of sight, it seems to get crackly fairly quickly. The bluetooth features on this headset are where it really shines. It's great for listening to music, and doing voice calls, through your phone. However your phone requires network connection for calls, and as we all know... the best roads don't have that. Download that Spotify playlist, and you can keep the music going!

Good, but........
Sound quality is decent. Not amazing, just, decent. Install is easy enough. Battery seems to last as advertised. People say they hear no background noise from the bike or wind. That's where it stops.Buttons are ridiculously hard to find with riding gloves on. You CANT say hey Siri/Google. You must push and hold the middle button for 3 seconds. 3 beeps then you have siri or google. PITAFor the money it's ok. It's only been two months. I'll keep it just in case I ever "need" it but will be giving Cardo a try instead. Hands free is a must.

Sounds terrible.disappointed. waste of money
Sounds like bass is turned off, tinny sound. Low volume. Cannot hear anything from the speakers while riding. Very dissapointed. Had a $25 blue tooth in the helmet and it sounded %100 percent better than this expensive one. Very disappointing...

Good device but terrible instructions. Mount broken.
The Good* sound quality better than expected* BT phone connection and intercom work well once paired and connected* fits nicely in HJC i90 helmetsThe Bad* Was frustrating to figure out how to connect the intercom to a 2nd 10B device / helmet.* Finally figured it out. 3rd party YT vids helped.* haven't road tested intercom yet. But GPS and music from my phone work well on the road.* One limitation I don't love is when the intercom is activated, it automatically deactivates the ability to hear GPS instructions or music from my phone even though the BT stays connected. I think the 20B permits both at the same time, but this limitation isn't enough for me to justify the extra expense of the 20B. I bought these for intercom capability.* I find it difficult to operate the helmet controls once the helmet is on, and especially while riding with gloves. But this may be a problem with all brands of devices? The Ugly* The instructions are trash and a waste of time. I don't understand how a company like this can produce such unusable garbage. The installation instructions are miniature pictures that are impossible to follow. If it weren't for third party YouTube videos to demonstrate installation, I would have been forced to return these devices and purchase something different.*Likewise, the instructions for operating the controls and connecting the intercom system are not adequate in my opinion. Again I had a rely on YouTube videos from a third party to help me with this.* The smart HJC website is severely lacking, and my VPN service alerted me that the website certificates are expired and warned me that the website was unsafe. This is completely unacceptable.* Trying to follow the website instructions in order to download a program for firmware updates is a disaster. I was unable to update the firmware even though I followed the instructions provided. The program does not recognize my devices. Furthermore, Windows 11 alerted me that some of the drivers were incompatible and therefore unsafe to install. In the end I uninstalled the firmware update program as a result, and now have to search for the incompatible drivers to uninstall them manually. That being said, I'm not sure how important firmware updates are for the 10B. I'm guessing they are not.* Lord help me if I ever need actual customer support.ConclusionTo keep it brief, it seems like the device works well once (and if) you're able to figure out how to install it and connect to a second 10B device using intercom pairing. I should mention that although I have been able to connect to another 10B device, but did not try "universal" pairing to a different device brand.Time will tell on how well these 10B devices will hold up over time. But so far so good.I give the actual device quality a 5 star rating, but instructions and other support 1 Star for an avg rating of 3.Will update in the future if anything changes. 8/23/202310/05/2023 UPDATEThe intercom works well with a passenger. Once you know how to connect, it's easy.Problem. The plastic piece that connects the control unit snapped off after less than 2 months attached to my helmet. Not sure why. All I did was pull my helmet out of the carrying bag and it was broken off. Not sure what to do with this point, got to figure that out. Maybe the plastic piece can be replaced? But then, what's to prevent it from happening again? Is this a defect particular to this model? I attached a pic and reduced my rating down to two stars as a result. If the plastic piece can be replaced, then I'll bump up to 4 stars. If it can't, then I'm dead in the water.
