Great for a clean install!
These are a little pricey for not even coming with an Anderson connector, but they do allow for a very clean install. I also like how the cap on the female one, locks into the tab on the male connector. I used these to add dc-dc charging cables from my truck to my rv. The rear of the female connector did not want to close completely (hence the zip tie). I am using 6 gauge cable, which is the max size they recommend for this connector. That, plus the price is the reason for the deduction of one star.

Perfect!

Good but flimsy lid.
Anderson, Jack and mounting bracket are pretty solid. The spring loaded lid/cover though is a bit flimsy. One of the two hinge points broke and now the spring pops out and the lid/cover just hangs.Latest update, after letting the seller know about this, they said they would send a new lid.

Exactly What I Needed
I used this to add another solar charging input on the back of my camper van. It is well made. Should be water tight. A little expensive for what it is but I would buy it again.

Alert - 1/2 of connector
I’ve used many Anderson connectors and they always include a 2 part connector. This kit includes the cover but only one part of the connector. Save yourself a few bucks and just purchase the cover and AC separate. I can’t believe they sell it like this. *update, I have a Anderson connector and it won’t plug into the plug in the kit.

This is good, but I bought the wrong size
It was my fault that I bought the wrong size! By the time I got to realize, it was too late to return. Other than that, its a solid enough plug cover
