Great for Vintage Craftsman saw!
I received a broken unit from the supplier as it was shipped in a soft package. The ends are only 3/32" thick so dropping this insert can easily break it. Unfortunately for me I had to wait an extra few days to receive the replacement but I am definitely happy I purchased this insert for my 113.25721 Craftsman table saw. I had terrible chip out while cutting across plywood grain and didn't want to have to use a backer every time to prevent that so I found this insert. This, coupled with the PALS (Precision Alignment System) for the trunion has made my 1950's table saw immensely better to use! I highly recommend it.The adjustment screws on the either end are a bit fiddly to get fitted right to avoid any play in the insert, but once it's set it works great and I have been able to cut oak plywood cross-grain without tearout. Now I wish they made one for my Evolution miter saw. . . .

Needs a little shimming but fits great!
Like other have stated its juat slightly thinner than the factory insert, about .5mm in my case. Luckily painters tape is .1mm. So 5 layers of it at each side and im sitting compltly true of the top 👍. Set screws arent really too useful in my case, side one doesnt touch even when fully extended. Luckily it fits quite snug without them. Overall higly recomend, i have no idea hpw I would make this myself with wood and having it be strong enough.

Great piece. Will improve safety with table saw.
This item fits great. I have made these in the past but it took a lot of time to get them right. I used duct tape on the bottom of this to shim it up so it aligns almost perfectly with the top of the saw. Also I put electrical tape around the adjustment screw threads to tighten it up so it would not vibrate in. Great value. I may get another for my dado stack.

Third one and keeping using them
These work and fit great. This is the third one ive bought ( different blades and set ups if your unfamiliar). I have an old craftsman tablesaw that i still love to use, but the cast iron beast was not built with safety in mind. Takes only a little bit of time to set up and has worked perfectly ever since.

Sturdy throat plate.
Purchased for my 1950s craftsman 10 inch contractors saw. The origional plate was held in with a pair of flat head screws. After installing per the instructions i contacted the manufactor regarding drilling and countersinking the phenolic. I did and it fits and functions fine.

Perfect for a 1953 Craftsman Table Saw
We needed a zero clearance insert for a Craftsman dado blade and this fit the bill! The only caution it to remember to lower the blade after completion of cutting the the dado insert or it will burn the underside of the insert when using the first time.

Did not fit my 1970's Craftsman saw
The top outline is correct for my saw, but the first step on my table is twice as thick, which would mean I would have to shim the ZC insert. The show-stopper is that the lower opening in the cast table is smaller on the trunnion side than the insert by about 0.25". I would have tried to shave off the insert, but since it was too thin on the top already, I decided to return it.
