Super thick material; 4 mil thickness here is much better than the usual 1.5 or 2 mil sheets you see in other mattress bags. I will be able to reuse it for my next move. The plastic is so durable, I was able to hold the plastic edges as handles; however, this was done only to move my twin mattress (i.e., this approach is probably unsafe for heavier/larger mattresses because the plastic might tear). Don't bother buying a mattress bag from any other brand (e.g., ULINE, U-Haul, Pratt, Sleep Tite, Scotch, etc.).

i bought this for my full and twin size mattress. Its great material but doesn't close. you need to figure out how to close it around your mattress, which is a bit inconvenient.

I just moved, and I used this bag on my queen sized mattress with a really thick pillow top. The mattress fit into the bag easily with room to spare, and I was able to fold over and seal the open end with ordinary packing tape (long strips wrapping from one side to another around the end). The bag survived being manhandled onto the top of a truck, and survived being tied down tightly with rope for the 50 mile drive to the new house. The plastic is thick enough to avoid damage; however, we were being extra careful. I think if you grabbed the mattress too tightly, your fingers could potentially poke holes into the bag. We just used the palms of our hands when lifting and moving the mattress, and it worked perfectly. If I ever move again, I hope that these bags are still available!

I should have bought the 2 pack! We used this bag when moving our mattress and it was exactly what I was looking for. I wish I would've had another bag as we were moving our box spring as well. It completely covered our queen with no problem. The bag is made out of very high-quality plastic and is very thick. It was so nice not to worry about our mattress getting dirty in the truck. AND it was very important to me that it was made in the US. I will definitely be buying more when I move next! Thank you!

I am converting my guest room to a play room for the time being, but still need a real mattress (not air bed) for my mother in law and father in law when they visit. This was a great solution. I was able to easily put my queen pillowtop mattress into the bag myself to store in my basement. The material is thick and did not tear or bunch or give any other issues. I feel that it is secure and the dust will stay on the outside of the bag while it is stored until the next use.

I am SO thankful for this purchase. I had recently purchased a Luxury Pillow Top Beauty Rest mattress & then decided to relocate to Wyoming. I actually wasn't planning on covering the mattress, but for what that lovely 'luxury' item cost, decided I better. When the movers FINALLY delivered my furniture 45 days later, there was this huge black area on mattress & I couldn't tell if it was actually on the mattress itself or on the bag that was covering it. Turns out it was on the bag & when it was removed my mattress was a pristine white, just like when it left California.I will say there was a real challenge getting the pad on the mattress. I felt like I was wrangling steers trying to get that thing on & then taping it down with tons of heavy duty tape to ensure it didn't come loose. As it was, when it arrived, the gel was frozen solid on the side that it had been standing on during transportation. It took about 10 hours, with the help of an electric blanket on low, to get the gel softened so the bed would regain it's proper shape.If you are moving, don't spare the cost. Get one of these bags to protect your mattresses. You will be thankful you did.

These bags went on a queen mattress and box spring. They were loaded on a pick up truck and driven 6 miles away. The bags remained in tact. I have high hopes that the bags will protect the set while they remain in storage in my garage. That is the primary reason why I bought the bags. They feel thick and sturdy The only reason I didn't give this product a 5 star review is because it would have been nice to have one end of the open end fold inside and around the end of the mattress/box spring so that you fold over the other end and tape that. It would ensure better protection at that end. Instead I rolled the 2 ends together and used a ton of tape to seal the end.
