School Smart Flat Toothpicks - Pack of 2500 (085950)

Truly flat (not rounded) toothpick--the kind my mother used to get! Very versatile; can be used to make tiny sanding sticks by supergluing little piece of sandpaper to them. Great for plastic model-making. Wonderful product and good for crafty projects.

These were the perfect, flat toothpicks our STEM students needed to build their bridges!

I wouldn't call these top quality, and they aren't consistent in size. Some are thin or barely more than shards. My son's physics teacher told him to pick up a "standard package" of 750 for a project. This gives me at least double that amount in terms of usable stock.If you want a good deal on 1500-2000 toothpicks and don't mind throwing the rest in the compost bin, then this is a four star product as long as the price remains low. If you are expecting 2500 good toothpicks, then you'll get something closer to a two or three star product.

These say school smart, but we were unable to use them for my daughter's Chemistry class bridge project. Put they are perfect if u can use flat ones. They are very sturdy. I would recommend for projects that need stability.

I feel like these were made by putting a piece of wood through a chipper. They were not uniform, a large amount of them were broken to begin with and the rest were so fragile, nothing could be done with them. These were purchased for a classroom STEM challenge, that is turning into a complete disaster due to the LOW quality of this product.
