Wilkinson Sword70010230 Hydro 5 Razor Blades for Men, Pack of 8

I don't think that these blades were genuine Wilkinson. I have use Hydro 3 and 5 for a number of years and this batch did not shave at all smoothly and caused many nicks, and nearly ripped my top lip off, i have had this problem before with other FAKES and found after intensive research, that th blades are of a poor quality and are not shapened to the same quality as Wilkinson, this is the sole reason i swapped from Gillette as more and more fakes of Gillette were landing on the market place, i will have to throw these in the bin, can't put up with the pain, go back to dry shaving until i can Get to Boots

I'm not sure why but Wilkinson Swords blades don't seem to stay sharp for as long as they used to.I do not have fast growing or course facial hair and only shave every other day bit I've found theses blades have started to pull within only 2 or 3 shaves.Always had and used Wilkinson Swords blades and had some that have lasted and shaved close after 10 or more shaves.These have been quite disappointing by comparison to blades of old.Maybe it's time to look at an alternative brand. Any recommendations.

Delivery was as expected fitted through letterbox ok so no excess packaging however when opened found the blade containers (2 off ) had no lids, not a problem as I had a old containers which I l had kept old blades in so yes a good idea environmentally and did not change the the actual product which I am now using.

Look and feel fake. Cuts my skin virtually every use, even if using for the first time and hardly any lubricant on the blade housing. Used Hydro 5 for years. These are the worst batch of blades I’ve every had the misfortune to use. Avoid.

Cant go wrong with Amazon. Fast delivery and you know you'll be getting a genuine product with no messing about. I think these blades are better than the Gillette equivalent but these don't have the extra blade on the rear to do your sideboards and nose hair so I buy both.
