While I wouldn't call this a health food they are healthier than most snack foods so I don't worry as much when my kids eat a bag of these.The taste is a bit more mild than Cheetos so if you are hooked on cheetos these might not do. I'm sure regular cheetos would have higher numbers.

I've bought everything Pirate Brands has made (except for Potato Flyers) and this one is probably the best overall. My wife and I can't stop eating these. They're simply awesome. Very cheesy, good texture, very easy to chew, no greasy/oily aftertaste or residue on your hands, just precious cheese dust! We like mixing these up with other cheese snacks (pirate booty, gold fish crackers, etc) and pretzels for a nice custom snack mix. These are sure to please anyone that likes cheese curls, just don't tell whoever you give them to that they are more healthy than normal cheese puffs and they'll never know the difference!

I have become accustomed to the smaller snack size. So this is twice the serving size I want or need. Would like to see these offered in the mini size bags to buy by the case.

These are pretty great considering that they have a very simple list of ingredients, actually have CHEESE in them, and aren't colored florescent orange. While health(ier) than the Cheez Doodles that we all know and love (and have stained things with orange fingers after eating), these still have 7 grams of fat per sorta-generous bag, so it's not a guilt-free snack. But if you can spare the calories/fat and are jones-ing for a cheesy, crunchy snack, these are pretty great. I'm just happy that my daughter (who is seven) considers THESE the "ideal" cheese puff and considers the bright orange ones in the big, clear bag way too greasy and tangy.Now if only they would make these in a "crunchy" version, I'd be pretty happy. Regardless, I recommend giving these a try.

I ordered 2 bags of corn puffs with 6-1ounce bags. What I got was 12 1/2 ounce bags of corn and rice puffs. Beware buyers. This is a a mistake waiting to happen,

This is a snack that I can't find in our local markets. I ordered a case of puffs from amazon.com on a whim. Shoping for food online was a first for me. When this huge box arrived my wife and I couldn't believe the size of it. We had a good laugh unpacking 24 bags of Smart Puffs and ate one bag full right away. The puffs tasted quite good and with the reasonably healthful ingredients they contain we did not feel guilty eating them.The puffs have a pleasant natural cheese taste. However, eating Gourmet Smart Puffs is a somewhat startling experience. Pop a couple of the puffs into your mouth chew a few times and it feels like a crunchy mouthful of cheesy air. Is that strange or what?I think I would like a bit more substance to my snacks, but I guess one can't have it all and still remain reasonably healthy. Smart puffs do not seem like junk food.Oh, by the way, your fingers do not get all yellow eating Smart Puffs. I have ordered my second case of Robert's Smart Puffs.

This is one of our favorite snacks for school lunches. The portions are a perfect size and keep them from getting stale.
