Denix 1825 Italian Percussion Pistol

I am really happy with this pistol! The piece is made from real wood and met and it has a nice weight to it. It is put together nicely and it doesn’t feel like it’s gonna break on me at all!

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this for a costume and it's great for what it is. It looks fairly real and is pretty solid. It functions and can even shoot the old style cup type caps. The ram rod is not removable, which is fine as I'd end up loosing it at the Halloween party anyway. I'm very pleased with this item.

For a costume piece, this replica is fantastic. It won't hold up under close inspection, but to casual on-lookers, it looks like the real deal. It's got a believable weight to it, and you're not going to break it through normal use (by which I mean it would easily survive an accidental drop or two).The hammer doesn't work properly, but that may be because I got a used one. I can pull it back to half-cock, and it'll work properly upon pulling the trigger. However, if I put it at full-cock, it gets stuck and I have to manually push it forward. So it's not as fun as it could be, but that hardly matters for a costume prop. Overall, it was worth the money I spent on it.

It is very realistic though lighter than my real pistol as well as slightly smaller but heavy enough to move it like the real thing.and it shots caps.

The gun is a beautiful work of craftsmanship! It makes an awsome decorative piece, or in my case a kick butt cossplay weapon. 😄
