Here are the Pros and Cons
Oh, the trials of summertime and swimmers ear infections! Following my daughter's third bout this season, the doctor suggested the introduction of earplugs for her pool excursions. Initially met with reluctance, our salvation came in the form of these colorful earplugs.Pros:- Vibrant Colors: The eye-catching and fun colors immediately appealed to my daughter, making the whole process more enjoyable.- Fade-Resistant: Thankfully, the vibrant colors don't fade under the harsh effects of sun and chlorine.- Ease of Use: The warming of the wax became a delightful ritual for my 9-year-old, and she could confidently insert them herself after just a couple of attempts.- Comfort: According to my daughter, the earplugs are remarkably comfortable. Despite a slight hearing impediment while wearing them, she hardly notices they're in.- Durability: These earplugs stay securely in place and are reusable, adding to their practicality.- Convenient Case: The inclusion of a handy case ensures easy transportation, minimizing the risk of misplacement.Cons:- Sticky Putty: The putty's stickiness, while excellent for keeping the earplugs in place, makes removal a tad tricky and might leave a residue on the ear. Easily remedied with lotion or oil post-bath.- Pricey - Its on the pricier side due to it having to be replaced after several usage but worth the money to keep kiddo from getting ear infections. In conclusion, these earplugs are a practical addition to any household, offering versatile use and affordability. The nitpicky sticky residue is a minor inconvenience compared to their overall utility. My kiddo no longer has issue with swimmer ear so product definitely worth the money. Hope this review helped!

Keeps my ears dry in the shower
Nice and works fairly well, just wish they gave a little, case for each color. They are not uncomfortable but sort of hard to get in my ear so no water gets in. The colors are pretty and I would use them again

Kinda works, but not the quality I was expecting.
I was really excited for these. First time I tried them was at the beach. I figured because the box was in the sun it was making the silicon material more malleable. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. Even the 2 next times at the pool without being in the sun had the same consistency. This is a problem because when u take it out, if any part is too thin it just tears off or stays on your ear. When I attempted to reuse the last pair it was just not doing as well as the first time.First go round I got 0 water in my ears. I was also only in the water for maybe 30 mins. 2nd time at the pool I got a little bit of water in my ear as I continued put my head in and out of the water. 3rd time I put a swim cap over my ears with the ear plugs as a backup (swam for 70 min) and no issues. 4th time (with reusing the same pair as my 3rd try) it was just all sorts of a mess. I got water in my ears early into my 800m swimIf you are looking to travel and aren't doing any sort of competitive swimming, these may be good as u aren't going to cry over these if you lose them. For more serious swimming I'm going to find something that plastic or regular earplugs.

no more swimmers ear
Nine months ago my family and I joined our local YMCA. Since we joined I have been swimming fairly regularly. I swim at least a mile (about 35-40 minutes) five days a week. In the beginning I had no problems with my ears, but after three months I got swimmers ear / ear infection in both ears and it lasted for over a month (because as soon as I would start to feel better I would get right back into the pool and worsen the situation). I realized that I needed ear plugs. After a lot of research for not just home remedies for the pain, but how to prevent it in the future, I knew that I didn't want a traditional generic, plastic ear plug for fear of trapping water in. Because this product was developed by an ENT doctor I tried it. I love them. I use them with the ear bandit, under my swim cap. Before I bought this system I was a little worried how it would fit my head, and fit under my cap. I have the LARGE bandit (I am an adult woman) and it fits ok, might be a little big. But my swim cap just molds the whole thing together. Honestly some days it takes me a few tries to get a perfect "seal" with the putty because once I get in the pool and swim a few laps everything is wet and its harder to fix. I also always get little bits stuck around my ear (and sometimes in my hair). There are also spots on the ear band it where it makes contact that will forever have a pile of built-up putty. I have noticed that different colors last longer (they tend to stay "together" more) the BLUE, GREEN, YELLOW pack (in that order) are from longest to shortest life. and the PURPLE PINK BLUE, i've only used the pink so far.In summary:I have not had any swimmers ear or ear infections since I started using the PuttyBuddies with the ear bandit five months ago.I wear it with a swim cap, so I don't know how well it works with out one, but it fits great under a swim cap.I am an adult, and my kids don't swim enough for me to have tested it with them.Even though you have to keep buying the putty-buddies as they wear out, and they get stuck in endearing spots, I highly recommend them.

Highly Recommended for Ear Tubes!
These helped tremendously with my 4 year old who just got tubes. He swam in a pool for 2 hours with no issues!
