Cedar Shoe Trees for Men Dress Shoes 2 pair

I see no difference between these and pricier shoe trees with the exception of the cool, prestigious looking, custom alloy metal of whichever type company name tacked to one or both trees. I understand that using fine sand paper on their surfaces from time to time, like any other shoe tree of quality or otherwise really as long as it's made of wood.Why are the other brands of shoe trees more expensive? Are they 100% Certified Organic? Made from farmed trees as opposed to trees in a rainforest. (I'm serious, THAT would be a valid drawback to the overall cost of these.)These are made in China which possibly explains the lower cost per pair. These shoe trees serve their purpose just fine as far as I'm concerned. Another plus, in addition to the lower price is the packaging. The trees come wrapped in bubble wrap, then placed as a pair inside of canvas bags with the company name and logo on it.Finally, if anyone can provide a valid reason that separates these from the more expensive ones, I'd love to hear it, but I issue this warning, if you/they try to sell me a bill of goods such a response is only going to strengthen my stand on it and you're gonna have eggs on your face. Just saying, because I think these are great as it stands right now. So go ahead and contradict, I am open to valid responses but again if it's hogwash you're gonna hear it from me. I say this because people have tried to make me out to be a liar before. I bought this two pack for a pair of triple white Koio capri minimalist sneakers. And then I’ll have a second set leftover for something else down the road. It also came with 2 partitioned shoe bags. The bags are OK, but not my focus. The trees are very similar to those I got from Allen Edmonds about a month ago for my park avenues, but the overall quality is not quite on par with them. They’re also made in China and the Allen Edmonds are US I believe. They are a tad bulkier out at the toe. It’s not a big deal. I just shove them in until I can feel them at the toe. Overall I give it 5 stars because it’s a shoe tree that may not be perfect, but it’s close enough and will get the job done for a decent price. I expect to get years of service from them.

Still in the first couple weeks of trial. I have noticed a difference in how my shoes ‘should hold up’ vs ‘being on my feet’. I think they do help maintain that consistency in how they ‘should hold up’. I haven’t really experienced the odor relief due to my shoes being relatively brand new. They have a little nook to grab onto when you polish and moisturize your shoes but I have yet to utilize this function. I do believe the price warrants the purchase so far just to keep their shape as intended by the manufacturer.

Not sure why I took so long to buy my own shoe trees, but these are amazing. They are solid, sturdy, grooved in the back for transport and the adjustable joint is perfectly calibrated. After about 5 days I can already see some wrinkles in a pair of Cool Haans giving way and it was a pleasant surprise to find out it's much easier to polish and buff shoes when the shoe tree is in place. (If you have some wrinkles, apply some saddle soap while the shoe tree in place. May help recondition shoe better.)As an added bonus, each pair of shoe trees comes in it's own carry bag. Both bags are then placed in a box with a divider. Very nice touch.

First, these shoe trees are well made and work as expected. The wood was smooth, the spring system worked with no issues, all in all I am satisfied with these shoe trees.The item to note though is these seem to run large. I have 4 pair of the small and 2 pair of the extra small. The small fit into a size 7.5 Cole Haan very snug and a size 8 Cole Haan pretty good. The smalls won't fit in my size 7 Allen Edmonds or my size 7 Cole Haans. My advice is anything 7.5 and below needs the extra small shoe trees and anything larger can start using the small shoe trees.I didn't take any stars for this because shoe sizes vary so much brand to brand it's hard.
