Worked on pre-95 genie
This works great with my 1993 genie garage door openers that have the 12 DIP switches. It's hard to find anything before 1995 but this worked on my genie screw drive openers.

Too easy! SM24-MAX Universal Garage Door Remote works great!
We needed another remote for our 17 year-old Craftsman Garage Door Opener (model 139.53914D). This SM24-MAX 3-button universal remote was cheaper than other offerings and super simple to program (took less than a minute after reading the included instructions). It works perfectly! This remote looks better than knock-off Craftsman replacements too. This remote fits perfectly in the visor of my 2004 Ford F150, and it's compact design would work for any vehicle/application. Recommended.

Liftmaster GATE Opener LA400CONTUL
The media could not be loaded. I’d rate this product a 1 based on its instructions but I don’t want my review to get buried. Not a single thing about the instructions were correct but the remote did work and is compatible with my liftmaster gate.I have a yellow Learn button, but had to follow Purple button’s coding (4 presses). The sequence that worked was as follows (found it in a Youtube Video) to program Button A:Hold B and C until the light comes on.Press A 4 times, wait for flash each time.Exit programming mode (I pressed C)Press Learn on OperatorHold A until Operator flashesThis remote is vastly superior to the default liftmaster gate buttons since it has a door to keep from accidental presses. Hope it continues to work well.

Here is how I programed them.
These work great. I highly recommend them. They work on my old garage door opener as well as the new one next to it. I’m embarrassed to say how many different interpretations of the instructions I tried before I guessed correctly how to program them. The term “learn-button” refers to the program or learn-button on the door operating motor. The term “program-button” refers to button 5 on the remote-control and is next to the row of DIP switches.Identify the doors to be operated as door I and II. While programing the remote-control for door I, use button I. While programing the remote-control for door II, use button II. Repeating the setup procedure for each door will allow a single remote-control to operate one or two different types of doors. For each door opener, identify its brand and the type of learn-button, located on the motor. Use the table in step 3 of the manufacturer's User Manual to determine the number of times that you will need to press the remote-control button I or II when programming the remote-control.Remove the remote-control battery cover and locate the program-button (button 5).Then do these steps within one minute to program the remote:1. Press and hold the program-button on the remote-control until the blue light on the remote-control turns on, then release the program-button.2. On the remote press the I or II button (corresponding to the door you are programming) the number of times indicated in the table in step 3 of the manufacturer's User Manual. Allow the blue light to flicker after each press of the button before pressing again.3. Press the program-button on the remote to store the setting in the remote. The blue light will extinguish.4. Press the motor learn-button. It will light up.5. Press the I or I button (corresponding to the door you are programming) one last time. The light on the motor learn-button will extinguish.Example 1:1. Press and hold the program-button on the remote until the blue light comes on.2. Since the motor is a Chamberlain and has a yellow learn-button, press the I button on the remote 8 times, allowing the blue light to flicker after each press.3. Press the program-button on the remote to store the setting in the remote. The blue light will extinguish.4. Press the motor learn-button. It will light up.5. Press the I button on the remote. The motor learn-button will extinguish.6. Test the remote control.Example 2:1. Press and hold the program-button on the remote until the blue light comes on.2. Since the motor is a Chamberlain and has a purple learn-button, press the II button on the remote 3 times, allowing the blue light to flicker after each press.3. Press the program-button on the remote to store the setting in the remote. The blue light will extinguish.4. Press the motor learn-button. It will light up.5. Press the II button on the remote. The motor learn-button will extinguish.6. Test the remote control.

Replaces Craftsman 315 door keypad
My Craftsman 315 key pad was malfunctioning so I bought this replacement. Was a bit concerned because the price was so low and Amazon stated it was a "frequently returned item", but took a chance. I was very happy to find that it was a compatible replacement. The instructions were pretty simple. Took me less than a minute to program once I read the instructions a couple of times. It came with a 9 volt battery already installed. Once programmed, it worked perfectly. The buttons beep when pressed and have a nice feel. Only thing I wish it had was the single button close option. I used to simply press the enter key to close the door, but with this new model, I have to enter the PIN. Not a big deal and maybe I will be able to program it to do that later.

Helped extend the life of my garage door
Helped extend the life of my garage door when the original controller stopped working - absent this I would have had to replace everything. Pretty easy set-up

It Works. Just don’t over complicate it
The media could not be loaded. I’m not one for following directions so I spent 30 minutes figuring this thing out. 😆🤦🏽♀️ Hopefully you do it in the 30 seconds it should actually take!Side Note: After you press the LEARN button on your garage door opener, be sure you hold down the letter on your remote until the LEARN button flashes. Also…deducted stars because the range is poor compared to the one on my car and from the manufacturer. With those I can open the garge from across the street or 2-3 houses down. With this remote I have to be in my driveway, directly in front of the garage.
