Looks great and fits perfect
We have a cabin and have a limited space for a fridge, and this fits perfect and really looks retro. It’s a great fit for style and size.

Very nice.
I’ve had this fridge since March 2024 and I very much enjoy it. I love the temperature control of it. It is not loud at all. The decibel stated in the description is higher than what the fridge actually makes. The fridge is pretty spacious, it is true to the pictures seen where they fit a rack of rib inside. There are some designs inside the fridge I would like to change, but that’s just me overstuffing this fridge with food. The quality of the fridge is just ok, on the side of the fridge and parts of the door you can see some manufacturing errors like the surface on the side if the fridge not being smooth and protruding. these were not deal breakers because it is being used in my garage and it didn't make any funny noises or break during my 30day period.

Arrived DOA and the company provided ZERO assistance.
Thank you Amazon for the level of service you've provided! I wish that the product itself was at that level, or that the manufacturer was responsive with timely after-sale service. Here's my story. We purchased this item for a specific reason: We have a pretty high-end refrigerator/freezer in our kitchen. After 10 years, that freezer stopped working and, because the specific appliance is no longer produced, the part may take up to about two weeks to get installed. So when I looked at the Galanz GLF11US2A16 Upright Temperature Control Convertible Refrigerator/Freezer on Amazon's website -- and saw that it was available for delivery in two days -- I jumped at it. And admittedly, most of the reviews are good. But here's the deal...a manufacturer proves their value especially when things DON'T go right. The good ones have a number of ways to troubleshoot, or otherwise solve the problems at hand. Not so much with Galanz, apparently. We received the appliance this morning from Amazon, delivered by a very nice delivery crew. They even removed the item from its packaging so I could inspect before they left. Everything looked good. I plugged in the frig. After an hour I checked and it said that the temperature was 75 degrees I could hear the motor running (to its credit, very quietly). The minimal instruction booklet (literally 6 point type on pages measuring 3" x 5") gave a phone number. When I called, they told me that the device takes 4 hours to BEGIN cooling.Gave the proscribed 4 hours...temperature IDENTICAL 75 degrees. That's when I called Galanz, again, and was informed that a repair would take 2-3 weeks. Not what I signed up for. I asked for their corporate office number, which was provided. Unfortunately, every department that was offered as an option led to a voice mail.At that point, I called Amazon, and spoke with a wonderful agent, Renee, who issued refund. This brick is going back. I'll look for a different manufacturer. Galanz had their chance, and they blew it.

Red upright freezer.
The freezer came well packed and without any dents. Looks very nice and runs well so far. It is larger than the little, slim, models. Which is what we were hunting for. It is programed in Celsius and not Farinheit. But, we love it! We have a smaller fridge for drinks next to it. It makes it so much easier to get to frozen foods. 😀

Cool as a fridge, loud as a freezer
Works well and I like it. But I don’t like how loud it can get as a freezer.

Great freezer - perfect size!
This is a major purchase to make sight unseen. That said, everything about it is perfect. They let you choose the delivery date and time window. The delivery crew was professional and courteous and moved it to the requested spot in my garage. It was easy to unbox and move around by myself. I need to change the door opening side and that will require a second person to tip and hold the freezer but its not overly heavy and the process seems simple enough. Once you have it in place, the unit is an easy "plug in and ready". I love the size, the movable shelves, the ability to switch between freezer or refrigerator if needed. My unit had no damage or scratches and it looks great. So much better than a chest freezer because nothing gets buried and you can see it all easily. Highly recommend if you're in the market for this type of appliance.

Nice looking, super loud
Using it as a refrigerator. It's a very nice size for a small office (I don't need a freezer). It looks great. However, it is LOUD. I'm disappointed.

Second time worked like a charm
We had the first one delivered in mid-March, including paying to have the delivery guys take it down to the basement. When I unpacked it, it was broken every which way but loose. Like someone had dropped it off a cliff before delivery. To give it credit, Amazon paid a logistics company to pick it up, although I first had to get it out of the basement and into the garage. Amazon took a hit on that sale, and it took a month to get a replacement. The previous one must have been the last one in Amazon's warehouse. Although I had to get the new one down into the basement myself (there would have to been a delay for the logistic company to make arrangements and confirm with Amazon), when I unpacked it, it was pristine and it is now running great. Good looking refrigerator/freezer - retro look, just like us. Only problem I had was putting on the handle. I had to widen out the recessed holes in the handle with a drill to put in the socket screws. Unfortunately, I did not notice it in attempting to screw on the handle, and it caused a couple of small scratches. But I am happy with the purchase - looking and running good.
