Pretty happy.
I’m pretty happy with this. I attached to brick column with a piece of wood and some masonry screws. The bar seems solid and srong enough to hold the listed weight. The clamps open and close easily enough to allow for pretty easy rotation. The clamps would be better if they were a little heavier duty. They feel a little flimsy and like they might not last or hold up over time. But working great for now.I use mine for hanging two bird feeders. To my dismay but not surprise, squirrels and a raccoon found it very easy to climb out on the bar and get to the food. I think I’ve solved this by cutting pieces of pvc pipe and placing along the length of the bar. The pipe moves and rolls and they can’t get a grip. Working perfectly for now. Painted all the pipe black so it looks ok. Just wanted to add about this modification for any with similar concerns.

Survived a Bear Attack!
This is the first year we put a bird feeder out. We live way out in the country and very close to a National Park. We didn't think a bear would come on our deck (which sits high off the ground), reach over the railing, lean on the pole and give the bird feeder a whack! We knew it was a bear by bear paw prints left on the deck and our outdoor surveillance camera. The camera caught this young bear lurking around our house at 3:30 am on the night of the attack. The bird feeder was knocked to the ground and destroyed, but the pole didn't budge, bend or break. Beside a few bear claw scratches, it looked brand new. We now bring our feeder in at night.I recommend this pole. If it can survive a bear attack, it can probably survive most anything.

Nice feeder extension.
Love this extension. Easy to install on my deck, two pages of instructions are a bit much. Its just two lags through a bracket that tighten to the pole with some nice knobs. Powder coat is a little thin and spotty, that is why it gets four stars. Have already ordered another.

No more hummingbird mess on our deck!
This pole is super well made, very sturdy in high winds. I was surprised at how easy it was to install on our wooden deck support. I hung 2 large hummingbird feeders on it with no issues. It has a tightening knob on it that makes it super easy to turn the pole towards the deck to refill the feeders, then turn it back out away from the deck and know that it will not move. No more poop on the deck! Bonus - it is made in the USA.

So far, so good
Not the easiest to put up, but not terrible either. Paint was all chipped in only a few days, most likely from squirrel and raccoon attempts to climb out on them. Have not bent under their weight so far, which is what happened to all of my other hangers. Would prefer if paint held up better, but if they never bend, I will be happy enough.

Does the job.
The hook does the job and it was easy to install. I question that the rubber "high wind" gasket will last and the tiny shaft stop pin seems wholly inadequate. On the other hand there seems good reason for these design details. Much more and it would have been more expensive. Time will tell. Over the following year If renewing bird seed cartridges proves relatively easy and the thing doesn't fall apart I'll raise it to 5 stars.

Gread product, but needs some tweaking to be mouinted sturdily
Great sturdy product. Only concern was with how it is to be attached to a stationary pole. We fabricated two blocks, half of which fits to contour of the stationary pipe; the other to receive the bolts from the Swingarm. It works really well. Without the fabricated blocks, the arm would not be as securely mounted to the stationary pole.

Good pole but poor mounting hardware
The pole itself seems good quality, and the packaging as well as instructions were useful. However the mounting hardware seems a bit flimsy. In particular, I managed to bend (!) one of the mounting screws while installing this. I ended up using instead two deck screws for the main mounts, which seem plenty sturdy. I would suggest they ship these with more quality mounting hardware / wood screws.
