NakedEggs is proud to be featured in the Martha Stewart American Made Market. These eggshells come from backyard farmers and organically raised chickens. They have been thoroughly emptied and sanitized. This is a fabulous collection of three dozen eggs; some breeds may be duplicated but no two eggs will be exactly the same; example: 2 olive egger eggs but they will be different in appearance.....Also included at no charge is the Egg Illustrated Postcard, a $2.00 value...... These eggs are all from domestic birds or birds raised by breeders as game birds (ex: pheasant). Eggs from the wild are never used; we never take eggs from nesting mothers. All of our eggs come from breeders and are past prime for hatching and eating. So, they would otherwise be discarded. Because of breeding seasons, some eggs may not be available at all times....... Although the eggs displayed are not the exact eggs you will received, we guarantee a nice selection of colors, breeds and sizes. You will get at least one turkey, duck, chicken, pheasant and quail egg in the mix. I will hand pick and carefully package and ship. Wonderfully displayed in a cloche jar or bowl. For educators or simply the curious: You may choose to have these eggs tagged to breed. See the customization area. The eggs have been cleaned as I would clean them for myself...NO SCRUBBIES, NO HARSH DETERGENTS, NO CHEMICALS. I use baking soda outside and vinegar inside as a sanitizer. Then a rinse in hot water. That's it.
