This one-of-a-kind Anglican rosary, also used by Episcopalians and Protestants, features my handmade deep rust polymer clay cross and focal beads with handmade clay canework in checks, spoked wheels, stars, and more (the designs are not painted on but actually constructed out of clay). The cross is double sided; its back is metallic gold clay embossed with a calligraphy pattern that's highlighted with dark brown acrylic paint. It is signed on one edge. The week beads are multicolored Red Creek jasper in colors of mustard, rust, dark and olive green, with dark brown veining. They are separated by size 8 clear orange seed beads with silver linings, and smaller size 11 opaque glossy celadon green seed beads. What sets my rosaries apart from others are the metal beads clustered around my focal beads, in this case, heishi discs, diamonds with antiqued cross patterns, and small corrugated rondelles, in a mix of gold-finished pewter and gold plated metals. All components are strung on nylon-coated multistrand steel beading wire for strength and flexibility. Comes with brochure explaining the history of Anglican rosaries, how to use them, and sample prayers. A great gift for the confirmand, graduate, someone with a life challenge, your religious leader, or someone about to be deployed. Or just for you. Cross: 2 3/4" H (7 cm). Rosary length: 17 1/2" (44.3 cm). Age: 16+.
