Is this safe to use on hair that has previously been dyed with henna
I’m looking at buying this in medium warm brown. Has anyone used this shade? My hair takes well to dying but I don’t want it to go really dark.
Will california beach cover orange and yellow tones in bleached hair?

Really natural and leaves my hair feeling amazing
I decided to give dying my light brown hair a go as I'm starting to get grey hairs. I thought my hair was in really good condition before using it, but it's now even silkier which I didn't think possible. I really love the feel of my hair and it's covered the grey and is multi tonal and looks really natural. I will definable use this again.

Grey hair to medium coolBlonde
Kept colour on for 25 minutes as my hair was dark grey pretty much all over. Shoulder length hair. One box and the colour has come out light - mid brown. Hair feels soft and silky and I actually like the colour that has come out as it’s very close to my natural hair colour before it turned grey! Might have went a bit blonder if I’d left it on longer but box tells you to leave on for 20minutes. Might try 40 minutes next time

Medium Golden Brown #5G
This colour hair dye, medium golden brown, was used on previously undyed medium/dark brown colour hair (slightly greying) and after application etc, it was more of a 'gingery-red-brown' (IMHO!), however, it did cover the greying hairs! and after using a home remedy 5 or 6 times (equal parts of bicarbonate of soda & (preferably) anti-dandruff shampoo paste mixture and lots of other shampooing & conditioning, the 'gingery-red tone' abated, a little.Everyone's hair type is 'unique', so it may work for you, and the product is semi-permanent (hopefully!), but for me it's a gingery-red-brown and not medium golden brown..hence 3* rating. Horrible
This dyed my hair BLACK, not medium brown. My hair was a light copper colour and I wanted to darken it a bit to be a closer match to my dark brown roots (I dyed all of my hair with this, not just the lengths). The outcome was this super dark colour that could never be described as brown, let alone medium. I hate it. Thankfully it’s not permanent.

Customer service was outstanding when I had questions about the product.
Step 1: PREPARE Protect your clothing with an old towel. Wearing the gloves provided in your kit, pour the contents of bottle 1 into bottle 2. Shake thoroughly until fully blended.
Step 2: APPLY Starting at the roots, apply colour mixture immediately all over dry, unwashed hair. Work the colour through your hair to ensure full saturation. Leave colour on for 20 minutes.
Step 3: FINISH When time has elapsed, rinse until water runs clear. Follow with the deep conditioner in bottle 3. Leave on for 2 minutes. Rinse. Use remaining Colour Treat Conditioner once a week after shampooing.
TIPS AND TRICKS:
As it is a semi-permanent hair dye, this means that your hair can go darker, stay the same level or you can add a tone, but you cannot lighten or lift your colour. If you want to go lighter or completely cover greys, choose a permanent hair colour. When using a semi-permanent shade, stick to 1 to 2 shades lighter or darker than your natural colour. Colour on top of colour tends to look darker. If in doubt, always choose 1 shade lighter than your current colour. If it’s too light, you can always go darker next time. Finally, if you choose a darker shade, just remember it will take longer to fade as you shampoo.
