The heart wants what it wants!
Mia is not living; she is merely surviving. But when Arrow comes home, she can’t help but feel the electric pull towards him. Arrow is living with guilt and past mistakes. The biggest one is now living in his house while he is under house arrest. Mia is doing everything she can to stay out of Arrow’s way. She has her routine, and every week she makes the trip to see her boyfriend, who never acknowledges her in any way or form. But life gave her lemons when she should have had lemonade and now, she is stuck in the cycle of hoping that one day he will forgive her. With each passing day, she reflects on what happened on that fateful night, and she is more determined than ever to get to the bottom of it.Arrow's desire for Mia is unwavering, despite the irreversible damage done by their previous connection — a burden he'll carry forever. When the chemistry becomes too much, will they succumb to their feelings? When the truth starts to unravel, will they ever be able to forgive one another as well as everyone entangled in their past? This was a compelling story that kept me enthralled all night. The author skillfully captures a range of emotions that tug at the heartstrings. The narrative is multi-faceted, with elements of heartbreak and hope woven throughout. The truth always has a way of coming out, for some it is a relief, for others not so much, but in the end, better the truth than the lie. I wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone looking for a compelling read.

This book had me hooked from page one and got me out of my reading slump!!
If you’re looking for bit of a lighter, but still emotional, football romance read, this is the book for you. It’s not too long, but it still manages to pack in a lot of plot twists, drama, and a heaping amount of steamy forbidden romance. I did really like this one so I’m going to try and finish the series. This book focuses on that “shoulda coulda woulda” second chance at his best friends girl trope but man, the ride to the end had me cryin like a baby 😂 However, the drama does start in the beginning of chapter one and for that, this book got me out of my reading slump so I hope the rest are just as good 😁

Not really a sports romance
Tw: dr*gs, d**th, bl**d, unhealthy alc*hol consumption, depression, anxiety, su*cidal thoughts and actions, cheating, low key ab*seY’all. I can’t even tell if I truly liked this book or just liked the ending. I definitely saw the twist coming because it was in your face obvious but still. It was so weird and the timeless kept jumping and it literally made me feel so odd. I couldn’t tell if I enjoyed the book but I also couldn’t stop reading it!? But I also kinda want to read the next book because I loved Chris and it seems good. We’ll see though. So many secrets in this book though. Like maybe too many? Idk manTropes: insta love, friends to lovers, virgin FMC, sports romance???(literally not really), secrets, she works for his family, they come from different sides of the tracks, Cinderella storySpice: 🌶️Steam: 🔥Sweetness: 💗💗.5Toxicness: 🤢🤢🤢

Great start to the series..but..
I loved the plot sad as it was however the female lead in this book left me feeling irritated and at times angry. She lead Arrow on a merry chase throughout the book. The author toggles beteen the past (before the accident) and the present (after the accident) but it doesnt matter if it is past or present Mia is only thinking of herself and her feelings throughout the book. Not all of it was her fault cuz Arrow should have walked away but I hated every time she pushed him away then tried to justify it to herself and us.

WOW! WOW! WOW!
This book is intense! So well written. I had every single emotion throughout this book. The journey these characters go through is something that can happen to anyone. The love that blooms is everything. How they overcome so much. This book hands down a must read. It is worth it.

An intense read.
Our stars have so much happening in their lives; school, friends, parties, family, jobs, attraction, guilt, death, and love all packed into one year that we get to witness. I hope the rest of their HEA was easier. A well written read not about a college manwhore....thank you author.

Cute Cleanser
I listened to this Via Audible. The story is about FMC & MMC never having good timing and never being together despite their feeling, due to other “factors”. Mainly the FMC is dating the MMC best friend. Then due to even more tragic circumstances, they stay away even after the boyfriend is no longer in the picture. This is a very cute, heart aching romance, but is worth the read (or listen). I had a couple angry moments at the book, when you just get so frustrated with the story, but i guess for me this moments count towards a good read. Not really any smexy scenes, so if that’s what your after book isnt for you. Great cleanser book.
