The media could not be loaded. I was really surprised at the level of quality in both FUNCTIONAL and AESTHETIC design of this pitcher. It really is a beautiful design at a very reasonable price, which prompted me to add my review.[LIKES][+] Beautiful Design, Premium Materials[+] Appropriate for everyday use, but also a very classy looking pitcher for formal service[+] Could easily double as vase for flowers[+] Very fairly priced in my opinion given how premium the pitcher looks/feels.[DISLIKES][+] Pouring liquid with the lid on can sometimes be a bit finicky, it will "glug-glug-glug" unless you pour it at the right angle (see video). Pours fine without lid on.The pitcher seems quite structurally sound given how thin the glass is. It's made with Thermal resistant glass (wont crack with hot/cold liquids), and a stainless steel brushed metal lid with rubber gasket seal. Its surprisingly light when you pick it up, however the glass seems thick enough to handle careful everyday use. While it is dishwasher safe, given the tall dimensions and fact that its glass, I'm planning to just hand wash this. The lid is a brushed stainless steel and has a slotted plastic "pour guard" covering the spout. The lid looks very nice, it seals with a rubber gasket which will keep the lid securely in place while pouring, but is NOT an airtight seal, since integrated pour guard is vented. The pitcher is tall (10.5 Inches [26.6 cm]) but it will still fit on my standard refrigerator door, or the shelves.I'm mainly using this pitcher to store/serve iced coffee (which I drink pretty much everyday), and I didn't see any other reviewers mention this specific use. I can confirm that the glass is holding up to very fast temperature changes (e.g. pouring hot coffee into a cold pitcher then putting it in fridge). Apparently its "Borosilicate Glass" which is highly resistant to thermal shock. I will update my review if the glass ever fails due to temperature shock. The last pitcher I had was made of plastic and is heavily stained from the daily coffee use, I'm expecting this pitcher will not stain since its glass.Overall, I'm very pleased with the purchase and would highly recommend this pitcher to anyone who wants a premium looking pitcher that is also appropriate for everyday use. That being said... it is made of glass (relatively thin glass) so if you're looking for a super durable heavy-use pitcher, I'm not sure this is the pitcher for you. The pouring action can "glug" if you don't pour at correct angle, which is kind of annoying. If amazon let you rate in half stars I'd take 0.5 stars off my rating, but it doesn't bother me enough to drop my rating to 4 stars.I will update my review if my opinion changes or if I discover any flaws/issues with this pitcher.

I love this bobuCuisine’s Elegant Chill Water Pitcher. I like making crystal light in bulk as well as lemon water etc... Majority of the time when I make stuff its about 2 Qts, so I was looking for something about that size. This pitcher is 1300ml/44oz so its a bit smaller than 2 qts (64oz). I do wish it was a bit larger, however it seems large enough to make a decent amount of liquid. The design is modern and sleek and fits in well with a new looking kitchen. I love the fact that it is glass lots of pitchers these days are all plastic and they make your liquid kind of taste like plastic which I hate, you don't have that problem with this glass pitcher. The stainless steel lid stays on nice and tight, which was a worry I had about it when I first opened it, but have yet to have any issues. i like the fact that the id has a grate that covers pour spout, so if you have ice or lemon slices or whatever, they do not come out of the spout accidentally. The spout is a bit thin in my opinion, and doesn't let a lot of water out, which can be a good or bad thing. I like how it is tall and slender so it doesn't take up much space on my fridge door. I do worry about the thinness of the glass, but so far so good.~Thanx~

Beautiful pitcher! Received this yesterday and used it all day today. Realized that I should have bought a 64 oz pitcher so I could easily track my daily water intake but that was my mistake and no reflection on this product. It is beautiful and convenient so I am keeping it anyway. Does really well with h-o-t water. I drink hot fresh lemon & ginger tea every morning. I used to make it in my mug, but today I made it in this pitcher and it is so much more convenient. Sliced up a fresh lemon and fresh ginger and poured boiling water directly over the lemon & ginger in the pitcher & let it steep for 15 minutes before drinking. The pitcher handled the boiling water well, although the stainless steel cap became hot to touch. The lid stays on when pouring and I love the strainer in the lid. Only shortcoming is that the lid is not airtight, if it could be twisted around to close off the spout this would be nearly perfect.

This is an amazing pitcher. It is very light and fit in a small space in the fridge. I use it for infused water. I add lemon, cucumber and mint and other one - is strawberry and orange slices. It is very convenient, doesn't take a lot of room in the fridge and i refill it once or twice a day. The top is stays event if I tilt it far and don't need to hold it so I can do it with one hand. Overall it does looks great on the table, truly elegant design.

I am a stickler not just for practicality, but also for aesthetic appeal. The pitcher is so light that I had to tap it to make sure it was glass. And, it is *beautiful*! This is a word I never use lightly. Excellent quality'; gorgeous; practical; just the right size. What's not to like?

The design and aesthetic of this carafe is lovely and very visually pleasing, but the quality is far from good. The glass is extremely thin, to the point where I didn’t even want to keep it in the fridge out of fear of it shattering from the cold. I was using it cautiously for about a week, keeping it unrefrigerated for aforementioned reason, and as I placed it down on the counter, with completely reasonable force, the bottom and sides cracked, all the water spilled out, and there was glass everywhere. For the not super cheap price of this item, and for the limited and cautious use I got out of it, I was extremely disappointed with the lack quality and functionality.

Bought this to hold ice tea over the coming summer months. It's not only great to look at but fits well in a busy fridge door (taking slightly more space than a two pint milk container). What I didn't think about but now realise, is it will double up nicely as a presentational pitcher for tap water or cocktails (without the top) which I'd happily put the table for everyone to use, as the design is so nice.It's been easy to clean by hand but not sure about the dishwasher. I've been happy pouring just boiled water in it as well. I've only had a short while so hope it lasts. Also it doesn't drip!

This jug is gorgeous. It’s lightweight and doesn’t take up too much room. It looks elegant on the table and wouldn’t look out of place at a dinner party. Looks even more tempting once you add ice, lemon and cucumber. Distracts the kiddies from demanding sugary drinks all the time.

I bought it as I liked the design in the picture but its plain like the one I aqlready have, now I have two which look the same. Will have to decide if I wish to keep it. Otherwise very practical

I have a few of these, they are very good jugs as they fit in the fridge door, and dishwasher safe.

well made and good aesthetic design as described on web site, however i found it rather to tall to store in general body of fridge and have to keep it in door pocket.It would be helpful to include height and diameter measurements as well as volume in description.Delivery was quick and product was well wrapped
