It's a cute bowl. It has a venting lid. I made some ramen noodles in it, using the microwave. They heated evenly. Washed up great in the dishwasher. It's very roomy so you can probably make quite a few things in it. I haven't put it in my cupboard, but keep it out because I like the way it looks.

We are happy with the bowl - it seems to be of a good quality, and the pig is fun to watch while sipping soup from the bowl (as I am wont to do). It arrived earlier than I would expect the thing to come from a faraway land (I mean - relative to US, of course). Price-wise, the seller proved to be very flexible accommodating our requests, leaving us extremely happy in terms of the quality to the price ratio at the end of our transaction (which took some time).
