Size:X-Small You can expect great cut protection in this black KEVLAR cut resistant glove. These cut gloves are a heavyweight knit (a pair of cut and heat resistant gloves, for example, weighs 96 grams - this is 60% heavier than a standard weight Kevlar knit glove). This means improved protection, wear and abrasion resistance. This heavyweight knit is also reinforced with a composite filament fiber to increase cut and wear resistance, allowing this glove to achieve ANSI cut-level 4 protection. These black KEVLAR kitchen cut resistant gloves not only look sharp, but are designed to hide dirt, permitting the gloves to maintain their visual appeal longer between washes in industrial settings. Additionally, these cut resistant work gloves passed a 10-second flame test, meaning it is suitable for job applications with heat and sparks. Cut resistant Contender Heavyweight Cut-Resistant Gloves with KEVLAR are available in sizes XS - XL.

For the protection they give the price cannot be beaten. Buy a pair - your doctor will thank you!
I bought these for using a mandoline vegetable slicer. Unfortunately that was AFTER I had cut my thumb badly using it when I was tired!Since then I use one of these Kevlar gloves and have not had a single scratch - even when bumping the razor sharp cutting blade! The weave is very thick, but the fibers are like silk. I can't imagine they would provide any protection against something pointy like needles (because of the coarse weave), but against razor blades they are fantastic!

May be good for some applications
They do help prevent cutting your hands but was not personally thrilled with the feel/dexterity of the gloves. They are VERY smooth and feels like you have a layer of butter on them. Can't firmly grasp fishing line (mono or braid), or other particularly smooth items for that matter. Perhaps they are good for certain applications but not having a firm grip on things involving sharp objects leads to problems in general.

Works in kitchen, okl for curling iron
Got these for 2 reasons. One pair for grilling. Works great.Second pair. I was tired of burning my hand when I used my curling wand (only when using curling wand). Its difficult to grab hair with this. But you defiantly DO NOT get burned. Dont use wand enough to practice but you dont get burned.

No more cuts!
I unfortunately cut myself frequently when working in my shop so I figured I'd try these gloves and so far so good I haven't been cut since purchasing these gloves. However you can get a puncture wound but all in all a great product well worth the money. I'd recommend these gloves to anyone that tends to cut themselves frequently and to anyone that works with sharp knives and the like.

Poor quality we've, but very comfortable
Loose weave, frays and pulls strands easily, and not very resistant to regular use wear and damage. On the other hand, these gloves are exceedingly comfortable, and I have not tested them for cut resistance.

Excellent TIG gloves
Work great for TIG bench work. Flexible enough to pick up filler rod and thick enough to provide heat protection

Fake? Blended? Not reliable for normal Kevlar uses
Gloves leave melted black “Kevlar” on surfaces that my other Kevlar sleeves and gloves do not. Not usable for high temp that Kevlar is rated for.

NOT heat resistant as advertised.
I only used the gloves for one barbique and they failed miserably. The ribs were being seared at 400 degrees farenheit and they were only heat resistant for literally only a second or two. Very disappointed

poorly made seams between the fingers
As the other reviewer already pointed out, the seams are not well made, especially between the fingers they are falling apart in my particular glove. I am guessing they will make an OK work glove so i can find a use for it. Amazon has the greatest customer service, so I won't be returning an $11 pair of gloves - if they were $111 and lined with gold and silver thread, sure I would return them, but not in this case. I might just pull off the little hanging thread and put it under a flame test to see if it really is Kevlar fabric....Nylon and Polyester should start to burn before the Kevlar.... I'll do that when I feel bored.

I use these as oven gloves, and when steaming clothes
I struggle with oven mitts as I can't find ones that fit. These gloves work up to 375F for taking muffin pans out of the oven, which is what I wanted them for. They also work well with my handheld steamer, preventing scalds as I stretch and steam fabric. I wear size 71/2 gloves, and the size small fits perfectly. The gloves have gone through the washer and dryer and have held up well. Great price point too!

Air conditioner or fancy fan?
First the unit arrived with no electrical cord so I haven't been able to try it out. The main concept of this product is that you remove the filter, run it under water, put it in the freezer and re-install it. I guess the fan blows on the frozen water within the filter and it cools the room until the filter thaws out. Then I guess it runs like a fan. However, given the $24 cost I never expected much.

Still have all my fingers
These gloves are not invincible. They are how ever extremely good at their job. Excellent cut protection, still practice safe cutting while using them.
