Bits and Pieces - "Wynter & His Pack Wolf Pack - Matryoshka Dolls - Wooden Russian Nesting Dolls - Wolf - Animal Figurines - Stacking Doll Set of 5

Straight out of the box, these were a bit dusty and very dry. Just trying to turn them elicited a terrible squeaking sound. The pieces were so tight. I was giving these as a gift, so I was desperate to make them work. I pulled out the product I use for my cutting board and wooden utensils (which consists of beeswax and mineral oil) and commenced to lubing, paying special attention to the squeaky parts. When I was finished, the dolls twisted much more smoothly--without any sound--and had a nice exterior sheen. Just be sure to dry thoroughly and wipe off any excess product.

If we could give this 0 stars, we would. My 10 year old ordered this with his Christmas money. When it arrived the styrofoam was stuck to something sticky on the head and ears. My son tried to wash it off but the sticky white spots wouldn't come off. Then I try to open it and it won't open. Seems.to be painted shut.We return and get a replacement. The replacement is WORSE! Are these being boxed with wet paint?The replacement had the same 2 issues plus 3 dried up paint runs on the big wolf.

First one came damaged and the second one came damaged not very happy but I need it!!!

My autistic son loves these nesting dolls. They are actually nicer than I expected because of the price.

the black wolf's paint job is smeared...and wooden is splintering....on one of the two sets i got. Ihad to file off the rough edges as both are going out as gifts with no time to exchange...no happy withthe one.Thanks, Roz

Cute, but did not take long for ears to break off. Also paint is starting to come off after a couple months of play.

Very cute! It was hard to get one of the wolves apart and the largest one stuck to the styrofoam packaging, but all in all, I was satisfied with this purchase.

The styrofoam was stuck on the outside wolf and took off a little paint.

Just so you’re aware, these are made in China. They are what they say they are and are quite nice. A bit hard to open and close. Well painted. I’ll be getting rid of the cheap box and wrapping these up myself. The gift will look cheap in that box. I wish the description would clearly state where they’re made, tho.

I want to give these awesome nesting dolls a 5 because they are so unique. I use them in therapy with young people and they are always a hit. However, they don't close properly. The biggest "wolf" sits open approximately 2 milimetres, depite a lot of effort on my part to sandpaper them down. Still a great purchase though.

Purchased for my child who loves wolves. Wonderful item! Way larger than I thought it was, qhich is great.

I love Wynter and his Pack. Very nicely painted and well made. I gave them to my toddler son for Xmas in his stocking but secretly they were for myself.
