Walnut Hollow 3 Piece Clock Kit for 3/8-inch Surfaces, Use to Repair or Design your Own Clock

In my case, this clock kit was a good value for the purchase price because the installation instructions were easy to follow, it fits my clock well, and it keeps good time. I installed it into a clock my son made some 30 years ago while he was in high school. Now, I have it on the wall and this clock movement really looks good as well a providing great function.

If you have a collection of old clocks that stopped working like I do, sooner or later you will want to replace some of the works. We had a nice outdoor clock which I tried this on, and it fit perfectly. The 3/8" threaded shaft was correct thickness, lucky for me, and the hands from my old clock fit this works, so the style is intact. I did not need the other accessories, such as gold plastic numbers, and hands and mounting bracket. It's ticking away on my patio for over 6 months now.Note: I bought a cheap clock for 4 bucks at a closeout store and took the works out to use on another clock with a bad ticker and it fit there, but luckily. That clock was made to snap-in, not a threaded shaft, again lucky for me.Given both clock repairs, I would stick with the new works from Amazon, over buying a bargain basement clock just to raid the motor.Cheers

I had a really nice outdoor clock and thermometer plaque, the clock broke. I bought this replacement clock works and it took 5 minutes to swap it out. So happy I was able to fix my clock.

Be careful when handling the second hand (and minute and hour hand) while installing. They are so delicate, they bend/crimp easily.Not the most intuitive thing to assemble. Difficult to set the time after installing. Took a few days of fiddling with it to get it close enough.

Worked perfect for a mantle clock that lasted 27 years then died After I installed the hands I used a marker to color them black, don't look good up close but it's a mantle clock never get closer than 2 feet so you can't tell. Keeps perfect time. The old movement took 2 C batteries, this takes 1 AA.SUPER !!!!

They work. Nothing special. Not up to US manufacturing standards but good enough for the price.

So far so good.Replaced a dead mechanism in a nice clock.Installation was easy (be careful not to bend the hands and that they won’t bump into each other as they move).This is the type where the hour hand presses over a white plastic “tube”, then the minute has a slot to go on a oblong metal threaded post with a tiny nut (included), then the second hand pushes onto a tiny metal post sticking through the middle.

Fit well, works well. Has been keeping good time for over a year, now. Black hands show up well against the brass face of the clock.

Had to return first one due to defective parts. Return was simple and replacement item was received within a day or two and worked just fine.
