I have four dogs and three of them are senior dogs. Meaning, they need a bed that doesn't go straight to the floor when they get on them. This one is supportive, and keeps those sweet old bones comfortable and supported. Even when they sit on them, they are still very much off the floor. If you need an 'orthopedic" bed, this is one of those too.I only have one dog that digs on his bed, and thusly destroys the cover on this eventually, but it takes him over a year to do it, so I rotate the beds. My girl's is perfect, and the other two may show a little wear (but not much) so I give my destroyer of beds one of the old ones, and give my girl the new one. I've done this for years with these beds. I don't even think about looking for another one, I just click on "buy again" when it's time.One more thing I wanted to add. I read some say they tear up in the wash, so please heed this. It's the spin cycle that tears them up. After they wash and rinse, let them spin for just a minute to get some of the wetness out, and then put them in the sun to dry. You can throw them in the dryer if you want, but I like to take care of mine, and I have put them in the dryer at times and they were fine, but I mostly let them air dry, then throw in the dryer for a few minutes.Putting them back together is not difficult either. It's easier for me to put the bed part in first, then do the sleeves last. They use the rolled part for a pillow. Just one more thing.... all four of my dogs absolutely love these beds. Their beds are their 'safe place' too, and they go to their beds throughout the day to rest, and get away from the crowd. : ) They all go to their assigned beds at night, but in the day they do "musical beds" and sleep in each other's beds. I don't know why.I don't write a low of reviews anymore, but I wanted to share with you how much I, and my dogs, love these beds. Plus, they are attractive! If you're looking for a change, or buying a bed for a new dog, give these a shot. As I said in the title, they are the gold standard for me and my brood.

So... I have two 65 lb. Pittie’s and they generally don’t tear things up that aren’t meant to be torn up. Dog toys and such have a short shelf life, but outside of the puppy stage the furniture and most items around the house are safe. For that reason, I thought the two new Furhaven beds I bought them were safe. Nope, for some unknown reason I was gone for a morning and I came home to find one shredded.Ugh. To say I was pissed is a massive understatement. I was seriously ready to kill them. They were “this close” to being... passed on! No more! Ceased to be! Expired and gone to meet their maker! Stiffs! Bereft of life, and resting in peace! Pushing up the daisies! Their metabolic processes being history! Off the twig! Kicked the bucket, and shuffled off their mortal coils, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin' choir invisible!! THEY WERE THIS CLOSE TO BEING EX-PITTIES!!After a bit of yelling and screaming and putting the fear of dog in them cooler heads prevailed. It took me a couple of days to summon the energy to clean up the pieces of the bed, but in doing so realized that I just might be covered under the Furhaven “Worry-Free 60 Day Program”... and I was. I contacted Furhaven and emailed them photos of what was left of the bed and they sent me a new replacement. Thank You Furhaven.As the beds go they are really nice. Pitbulls these large beds are a perfect size. They easily fit one to one and a half dogs, and since my younger 5-year-old female has no concept of personal space they are often both found in one of the beds together. The quality seems fine... unless your Pitbulls are on a, ummm, tear. They are nice and soft. About the only thing I can think of, only word of advice is to maybe take them apart and wash them once a month. When the one got shredded it prompted me to wash the one that wasn’t and it was dirtier inside on the foam and cooling gel bit than I thought it would be. Long story short, I am quite happy with having found and purchased these beds.

I knew this bed would be too big for my giant pound golden but he was hanging off his other large bed and it had gotten so flat. I was not expecting it to be big enough for him and the two cats but it is with room to spare. I wanted a high quality very thick bed for him that would be durable and last. I know we have found it with this Furhaven bed. He LOVES it and it is so soft and comfortable. I can even crawl in it with him. Love the materials and it’s very high quality. I will say that it took longer to fully expand than the instructions said and I did have to use my steamer several times to have it expand completely. So do review the instructions and online videos if it’s slow to expand. But well worth it when your pup climbs up in it to snuggle up. And keep it where it’s flat and nothing gets on it until it’s fully expanded. The wait is worth it! Buy it!!!

I love that I can take out the bolster when the bed cover needs washing. I have had one bed for six years and I wash it every week. Just had to get another for another pup.

Perfect except for the colour. Picture on listing shows a light beige on the top of the bed but it is actually a dark camel colour. I wanted the light beige, (but the darker colour would look cleaner longer.) Added pics of how it arrived.

Great bed! One of the only beds my border collie will sleep on! He is picky and runs on the hotter side.All my dogs are loving these beds. Super happy!
