Zonon 20 Pieces White Non-Stick Durable Bushings Synthetic for Ca Finishing Pen Turning

The media could not be loaded.  I have a 4-star review because I had to drill out bushings to fit on 7"mandrel. I read lots of reviews saying the same thing, so kind of expected it. Not to mention, it was no big deal. Just held them in the channel lock and and rode each bushing up my 7mm bit. With that said, it should not, in my opinion, be necessary. ALSO.....They worked great. My blanks slipped right off after i coated them in multiple coats of CA.

These will not fit on either of my pen mandrels. I will need to drill out the hole which I assume is 6.5mm. It fits over the threads of the pen mandrel, not the shaft. I assume their drill bit is worn and they need to replace it.

These work very well, and you can build up the blank ends with c/a if you see thinness or cracking and they won't stick to the blank.

These are way better than others I’ve used in the past. Nice taper to when doing smaller dimension pens like the slim line ones you won’t get a ton of build up. The biggest issue I have with them is the batch I got were extremely difficult to put on the mandrel. If the holes were a fraction bigger they would still fit snug but not so snug that you damage the pen blanks trying to remove them from the mandrel. I can’t speak for all, just the batch that I got.

As you will see on most reviews here, these have an inner diameter far too small to fit the standard 7mm pen mandrel. They can be drilled out to work, but the fact they aren't the size they claim to be tells me that quality control at the manufacturer has got to be bad.They'll work, but expect to have to do some work to drill out the centers with a 7mm drill bit. Use the method one reviewer showed to hold each with a pair of vice grips and drill. That worked easily enough.

No problem with these fitting on the regular 7mm pen mandrel. Tried on two different mandrels without any issues.I was hesitant to buy bc of the bad reviews saying otherwise. Will now be buying these from now on. The glue sticks less to these than the expensive stick fast ones.

These are NOT 7MM OD bushings as described. They are 6MM - you will need to manually drill each bushing out.

I usually turn my own but thought these were a good price. Unfortunately out of the box, they didn't fit my 7mm mandrel on my Jet lathe. I used another's suggestion and widened them a little with 1/4 drill - it worked to salvage them but I am disappointed they weren't truly 7mm.
