The Marvelous Mermaid and Fabulous Fishtail Skirt Pattern

I have been sewing a long time and appreciate good instructions. This pattern appears to be created by someone who knows how to sew. Cutting it out was simple and sewing was easy. For my first skirt, I used stretchy swimsuit fabric so no unraveling edges. I will try adjusting this pattern with other types of fabrics plus in combination of stretchy (for the main parts) and woven (for the gores and fish tail). This style of skirt looks beautiful on the dancer and I look forward to wearing it with my other performance costume parts.

I have not used the pattern yet, but like the quality of the pattern and instructions.

This turned out very well. I am an average seamstress. This is not hard at all, just the first time you must adjust the pattern to your measurements. The instructions for this are clear and simple, just use a little common sense too and think through the adjusting of the pattern. I only had to tweak it a little. I made both the regular mermaid and the fishtail. I like the regular mermaid the best and it was the easiest. Both look very pretty and professional, just like the ones online at triple the cost. I get many compliments each time I wear them for performances at haflas and shows.
