Catit Design Fresh and Clear Replacement Filters for Cat Water Fountain (Pack of 3)

I have had 2 Dogit fountains for my my dogs since they first came out and have recommended them to everyone with pets, I have even bought a replacement pump.I feel it is a rip off the prices we are now being charged for the filters, why are they so expensive now?I have two large dogs who dribble a lot and the filter system was wonderful, they had fresh water all day, no more cleaning out bowls and refilling constantly but I have had to go back to that as the filters are not such a good quality even though they are more expensive, they only last about a week and even then you can see the black from the charcoal in the bottom of the bowl.The fountains are still a great idea but the cost of the filters will stop people using them.I am looking for an alternative to buying the overpriced ones from Dogit, they have got greedy!

Waste of money. I bought because I thought these would be good value, but after using one I am throwing the rest away. I clean the fountain very regularly to ensure my cats have very fresh water. But these filters are dreadful, they leave masses of black stuff in the bottom of the water bowl and alter the smell of the water. Not safe for the cats at all. Better to pay more and buy the real thing than chance it with these.

Absolutely love these for the Catit water fountain. I use these instead of the larger, thicker plastic 4-sectional ones (if anyone knows them!)I think these keep the quality of the water for longer.

One of our cats loves to drink out of this fountain and will always drink from it (or the bathroom tap!) for preference; the other sometimes looks at it as though she's interested but I've only seen her drink out of it once. So we have to have both this, and a bowl of water down at all times (we tend to switch this on when the one cat's indoors, and up & around rather than napping, then turn it off when not needed - it's quite quiet, and I'm sure it doesn't use much electricity but I prefer not to waste it, and he will 'tell us' when he wants it switching on if we haven't already noticed him standing by it). Filters are a reasonable price. It's worth it to help reduce the amout of hair-balls our puss gets, whereas with a bowl of water the hairs settle on the surface quite quickly.

Used in Catit Fresh and Clear fountain. It fits if you squish it a bit. Unfortunately only lasted between 1 and 2 weeks before it was disintegrating little black bits into the water so I won't buy again. Min order of 2 packets is a pain too.
