Who makes this coil?
I have no idea if I got the coil I ordered. It doesn't say pertronix anywhere. Not on the box, not on the coil, and there's no instructions that could say pertronix. The only thing the box says is 2.9ohms, and that it's made in China. Did I just pay extra for a coil that was supposed to be made by pertronix, but actually came off the generic brand shelf? For some reason I expected better than this. I'm honestly not sure if I should send it back. I paid a lot money for a pertronix electronic ignition. The last thing I want to do is ruin it with an incorrect coil.

Works, but first one had oil all over.
Matched with Pertonix 1844A igniter works really well on an 8N converted to 12 volts negative ground. However, the first one I got had oil all over and the box was soaked. Amazon replacement process was great and the replacement was there the next day. With a carburetor cleaning, the tractor starts on the first crank.
