These pickups are absolutely fantastic! Lots of fat tones to be had in any position. I am usually not a fan of humbuckers that split into single coils, as usually the coil splitting effect just sounds like an anemic humbucker, not like a true single coil does. But this pickup can really do it all. The rail sounds fantastic with that classic Fender bark (but still has some meat on the bones), the P90 is fat and full in a very precise way, and the humbucking modes in series or parallel is a great way to sculpt your perfect tone. I purchased these along with the Seymour Duncan Triple Shot pickup rings and this adds so much versatility to this guitar. I replaced the pre-existing push/pull coil tap with a push/pull phase switch and the tones are absolutely endless (I’ve counted 64 separate combinations all together.)All over great pickups, great sound, nice entry level cost, high quality pickups.

Gorgeous tone. great range of possibilities.it come with a few wiring diagrams, but I wanted something slightly non-standard (only volume controls - no on-guitar tone controls)- this took quite a while to work out

The tone from these pickups is amazing! Love how easy they were to install too.

Set up: replacing two Humbuckers in a T-style guitar (3-way switch, 1 vol, 1 tone, DPDT mini toggle).Guitar previously had two HOT Schecter apocalypse Humbuckers with a garbage coil-split yielding 6 voices, 3 of which were actually usable. Now I have 9 voices ( Humbucker x3, single rail x3, and p90 x3). ALL the tones are viable. Most impressed with p90 tones and Humbucker tones—single rail tones are very good, but not vintage. While the apocalypse Humbuckers had very solid balanced tone, the new P-rails are awesome all around. Do your homework—make sure they work and have wiring diagrams for your guitar before you purchase. Now my guitar sounds incredible.
