I bought this as an extra for my spare room and when I received this I was quite pleased when I saw the package, the colour of the duvet cover looked exactly as same as the picture, BUT THEN I OPENED IT!!!!!!!! Only the bit showing was the deep purple colour I wanted, the rest of it was an ugly pink, The quality of it is dreadful, the material is so thin you can see your hand through it, even after washing (as advised) before use it still feels as stiff as cardboard, the pillowcases, they’ve used the ugly pink colour and it still doesn’t match, now for the sizing........ afraid to say this is also crap!!! A duvet cover is supposed to fit the duvet yes? THIS DOESNT I ordered king size and have about 10 inches of extra cardboard (sorry, material) all round,SO....... if you want mismatched cardboard then this is the set for you, but if you was a decent duvet set avoid this one.

I hate leaving negative reviews, but PLEASE do not buy this item! I wouldnt even allow this to go in a guests room! The quality is absolutely awful! Like wrapping yourself in tracing paper. It is faded in a way it looks like its been washed 100 times already. The worst thing about it is, the pillows ARE NOT what are pictured! As yiu can see from my photo, they are not different from the advert, they don't even match each other! What's the point in that??? Honestly, do yourself a favour (unless desperate for a very cheap, poorly made quilt cover) look elsewhere! How this ended up as Amazons Choice ill never know....oh wait.... Amazon are the sellers...... DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY (I actually read some of the reviews but gave it the benefit of doubt.... not again!)

Colour is not dark purple, lilac and black, My duvet set was more pink, red and black, Pillow cases were red and pink striped and the set was nothing like the advertised photo. Material thin and rough to touch. Due to covid I washed my set and was surprised that the colour ran and duvet cover looked worse that my old duvet set that I’ve had for over 3 years. I dread to think what will happened after another wash. I put it on my bed to take photos to show other buyers what the real colours are like. I also found defects on the material, catches and white stripes in numerous places and the corner's were not finished correctly. Very disappointed I will be returning.

Goodness me, where do I start. I am bitterly disappointed with this quilt. It is not fit for purpose. 2 standard size pillow cases that are so badly made they won't go on the pillows. The quilt is the same, cobbled together, not even square and the material is so thin, you can see through it. My fault as I went against my own mantra of never buying "cheap" as you only get what you pay for and I certainly did. I don't think the manufacturers of this quilt set had any quality control. So now I am stuck with a crap king size quilt that isn't the right size. It's not even worth returning it. I think we will use it as a decorating cover. I have got 2 more quilt sets from the same people which I haven't opened yet and am dreading it. I Do not recommend this product. Let’s face it, I bought a cheap duvet cover and the quality was never going to be great. The material is very thin and some of the stitching on both pillowcases had come apart. Tbh, I couldn’t face the hassle of sending them back. It will be easier just to run then under the sewing machine if they get worse – simple job.I don’t hold out much hope for them lasting forever, but my expectations were not high in the first place so I shouldn’t complain.The quality is pretty poor, but they are comfortable enough and cheap so in some weird way they are value for money.
