Snark Guitar Tuner (SIL-1) Pack of 2

Great tuner for all my stringed instruments.

I play music professionally at night and run a music program at a boarding school by day. My students are always accidentally taking my tuners so I bought these silver ones and now everyone knows they are mine! Snark is such a great brand, been buying snarks for decades and will continue to do so.

Works perfectly on my acoustics, electric, and bass guitars and my ukes. I actually have enough so that I have one in each case.

Great price in a multiple device package but I do not find these as accurate for acoustic guitar as the Snark "Super Tight" models that are available.

Snark is a great product for guitar tuning, my son and husband love them.

Buy the Super Tight. The Silver shows that you are in tune when the Super Tight still says you are a few cents off. That's my experience after putting both on the headstock at once.

I have the older model and I can see that they have beefed up plastic clip assembly and the joints are more robust surrounded by rubber gaskets. It's easy to read and tunes quite quickly. There is pitch calibration which is handy when you want to tune to other instruments that are not easily tuned (piano, harmonica) and are not in a 440Hz. This Silver Snark is missing a few features found on the older model. There is no double flat button , no microphone sensor, and no tap metronome feature. If you don't need these features but want a heavy duty version of a Snark tuner then this a good choice.

I have several snarks cause I have several guitars, 14. These are the best of the bunch. I like the color and the screen. Very accurate. Love 'em.
