Equinox International Professional Razor Edge Series - Hair Cutting and Thinning/Texturizing Scissors/Shears Set - 6.5 - Stainless Steel

I brought it as mentioned Japanese's blade. On the packet it's marked made in China. It's build quality is nice. I brought it for personal use to trim the mustache and beard, it serves its purpose.

I use these because I trim my hair at home, and these are very sharp which makes them so comfortable and easy to use. Highly recommend. They are my favourite scissors!

I am a licensed hairstylist and I always buy very expensive Japanese shears. They are worth the money, and the companies sharpen them at no extra cost, so you get to keep them for years, before you can't sharpen them anymore. I saw so many good reviews on these inexpensive shears, I had to try them. They are sharp, not as sharp as my Japanese shears, but very close. They have a nice balance to them, and they cut hair very well. These are excellent shears for beginners, and professionals can still use them as a second set, or your at home shears. I highly recommend these shears if you are in beauty school. The shears you get in your kit are not too sharp at all, these are much better, to learn with, and please stay away from professional Japanese shears, until you are proficient in hair cutting. Professional Japanese shears are so sharp if you touch the blade by accident , you are cut.

I paid what I consider to be a fairly full price (relative to other similar products) for this item. Two main points of contention here. These 6.5" cutting and 6.5" thinning scissors were delivered in plastic moulded packaging. The scissors were clearly visible before opening. Cut hair was clearly visible inside the packaging and on the scissors. Amazon had delivered used scissors.The item description says "Comes in a free protective leather zipper case". I didn't receive this!The seller goes to great lengths to describe these as being made of "Japanese Stainless Steel" Interestingly the packaging more accurately tells us "Manufactured Responsibly in China". Looking (through the packaging) at the quality (or lack of) it is obvious that these are indeed Chinese made rubbish.

I love these.I'm a hair stylist.My last pair was almost $300 and I like these much better.

bought these as a xmas gift , in 2020, first time of use jan 31st 2021, neither use nor ornament, package says razor edge , as does the description and photo when advertised, the item is just a ordinary pair of scissors, no razor edgeso beware DO NOT BUY... amazon should be refunding its customers who bought this

I bought these a while ago to use at my job as a hairstylist and i was concerned about some of the reviews I saw, but these shears are fantastic for their price. I cut hair 8 hours a day, 5 days a week and over the past month these babies have stood proud and done me a great service. I can't recommend these enough!Also I saw another reviewer say that the shears were "wet" and thought they were used, but the description clearly states they come pre-oiled. It's just oil bro. Just oil.
