Beautiful, High End Looking Fan!
I am a pretty handy person and have installed most of the fans/lights in our house. I was a little concerned of the difficulty of the installation on this fan after reading the reviews. I didn’t have any of the issues some people seem to have had. I felt the installation was easy and straight forward. I didn’t care for the fan/light dimmer that came with it so I purchased a separate fan switch. I wanted to be able to keep my regular light switch and didn’t see a need for the light to be dimmable. It puts off great light for my bedroom.The description for the ceiling fan said it came with a remote control but there wasn’t one included. I have a remote control on another fan and honestly it is kind of a pain in the butt. That is why I opted for the wall switch to be able to change the speeds.

Beautiful but light is very dim
This fan is so pretty but I'm very disappointed in the amount of light given off by the led light.

No remote, such a waste
Seller did not include remotes, ordered three which is a big spend and to install them and find out there is no remote was pretty disheartening.

Sophisticated and Color on Point **UPDATED - WOULD NOT RECOMMEND**
***UPDATED**I had to update my review as this beautiful fan blew it's motor about 4 months after the purchase date. Caused a spark in the ceiling and we had to call the fire department from the burning smell filling the house. Huge inconvenience having this fan taken down and finding another one. Looks were deceiving on this one. What happen to fans lasting years?I bought this fan when there was no reviews. However, it turned out to be a great looking fan. Colors are true to the pictures. The gold color looks very sophisticated, not cheap and off color. The light dims to your liking. The led light doesn't seem to put off any different shade than regular old school lighting in my opinion. Some other sites said install was difficult. That might be for an average homeowner. My electrician had no problems. I love this fan.

Great fan, but hard to install
I love the function and look of the fan, but the remote was a pain to install. My husband can install and assemble about anything, but we had to get an electrician to install the remote.

I'd read this review
The fan is of excellent quality. Customer service was prompt and effective in resolving issues and providing assistance. As other reviews stated this unit DID NOT come with a remote. However, customer service quickly has one sent to my home. That was the only issue and it was resolved quickly.

If you need light find a new fan
This fan is quite possibly the worst fan.- Its louder than a normal fan and vibrates on the ceiling- The light is just the worst. Puts off nothing. Its dark in my room and I have two of these fans unfortunately.- I can get a hunter brand fan installed in under 15 minutes. This took closer to 35 minutes.Honestly, I dont understand why the lighting is so so so so poor. You would think now that we are running LED bulbs, that the light given off could be brighter, or that you could get a replacement or aftermarket bulb that could do the job. And cause the return policy is so bad, I cant return them.Save yourself the time and headache and by Hunter or some other brand instead of Del Mar.
