Convenience
Got this to plug in several phone chargers and be able to just shut them off when not in use therefore saving a little electricity. Does its job just fine.

Good Value
I got this product to use in my kitchen (100+yr old house, never been updated since the 50's) so I could plug in my toaster oven and microwave. Can't use them at same time (kitchen is a galley style). Anyway, the value is great for a powerstrip AND a surge protector with 6, 3 prong outlets. I got 2 bcuz the price was so cool. I will be using the second one in living room for the entertainment center. I live in Florida, so its smart to put surge protectors on every out let in your home that ur using. I replace them ever 2yrs, sometimes sooner depending how close, how bad, how many times my electric has been effected.
