I searched and searched for a basic MP3 player that I could plug an SD card into the back of, and be done. When I found this gadget I had no idea how great it would be until I got it home and set it up. You see, I have an elderly mother. I wouldn't say near the end of her life, but she's definitely slowing down. I wanted to get an uncomplicated music player for her that I could load all the songs from her era, the 40s and 50s, so she could fall asleep to or wake up to familiar sounds.I'm not going to go into all the great things this cube does because there's a million other reviews. Just know that you can use it without bluetooth just fine. The clock is clear. The "touch" nightlight feature is brilliant, and if the power goes out it still works because it's got a built-in rechargeable battery.I will note that I added rubber bumpers, (those tiny rubber dots on the bottom of electronics that keep them from slipping around,) to the "MODE" button and the "- VOLUME" button. Those alone, allow my mom to turn on the cube, (sometimes you have to cycle to the SCH setting for the micro SD card to start playing,) and turn the volume down and up.I will buy more of these marvels. I just wish I knew who the "actual" manufacturer was. (There are a lot of third-party branded ones out there.) This was the least expensive I could find, and has worked flawlessly forever.

Just what I needed for light beside my bed. I don't know what people are complaining about in these reviews.. it's a $30 lamp.. most $30 lamps don't do half of the things this one can. Sure the volume for music isn't "surround sound"... lol really people? Spend a hundred and quit complaining.This lamp / USB / Bluetooth / clock combo is pretty cool to me. And for the price I don't regret it even if it broke in a couple months. Oh and it lights up the room great! As you can see (: also I made a phone call w it's Bluetooth setting and it worked fine... so now when I'm out of the shower I can be hands free! 4 stars!

I love this speaker. I was looking for a portable speaker to play music around and outside of the house. This speaker is able to connect via bluetooth eliminating the need for any wires whatsoever. I connect it to an old iPhone that I use for playing music. I don't have to touch the phone ever using this speaker. It's able to turn the phone on and automatically connect to the last music source I was playing. I can play, pause and skip around using the speaker buttons as well. It's perfect. The connection range is strong enough that I can move room to room and even go out to the backyard with it leaving my phone indoors.The light function was perfect for middle of the night diaper changes without having to turn on the big light.I'm still learning some of the functions. (I haven't had to use the alarm clock or sleep functions yet).I wish the time display remained on all the time, but I suppose without a constant power source, that would drain the internal battery pretty quickly.The cube has a sleek clean, design.The only negative thing I can say, is the instructions were in poorly translated English which means you'd have to take your best guess at what's meant in some descriptions.I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a portable speaker option.I received this product for free or at a discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

I bought this a long time ago... maybe a year now? And this is a spooky device. It does what it wants when it wants. What is reliable is as follows:-The time of day-It will make a noise upon alarm timeWhat is unreliable is as follows:-Your selection of music for the alarm: Some mornings, it uses the default bird chirp noise rather than the SD card in it with the song I chose-The duration of alarm music: Will often change to birds chirping for no flippin reason-The selection of music in radio mode: Whether you're listening to your music on SD or USB, it will repeat when it wants and skip random without permission-Bluetooth connectivity: I lost the Bluetooth capability about a month ago. So now I have to use an auxiliary cable like a caveman.

I thought this would be the perfect item for my son. He wakes up best to music and he likes his room to have lots of lights in it when he goes to bed. Turns out, it is more complicated than it needs to be. My husband had no problem getting music onto the mini SD card (purchased separately), but then we could not figure out how to get the music to turn on with the alarm. No instructions were included with the product. I emailed the company and requested instructions, which they emailed promptly. Still, getting the product to do what we want it to do is nothing short of rocket science. I find myself pushing repeated buttons to get the alarm to turn off and even more buttons if I just want the music to be on, without using the alarm. I had great hopes for this product and planned to purchase a second one for my other son. Instead, we will make do with this one and find a better product for my other son.

Another waste of money! I have purchase 5 of these type of clock radio with TF card feature purchased to do just ONE thing, which was to be able to wake me up to my own messages, ie: Inspirational audios - but this one (like all the others EXCEPT ONE) only plays the TF card for about 2 minutes and stops.The only one that I purchase (my last purchase - and recieved today) was: Oakington DAB / DAB+ Digital FM Radio Bluetooth Wireless CD Player Micro Compact Hi-Fi Stereo Speaker System - Remote Control - USB Charging & MP3 Playback; which costs £119.95 but absolutely worth it.I suppose it's a case of, "buy cheap - buy twice" - but in my case, it was "buy cheap - buy 6 times"!
