Kinetic Sand, 11lb (5kg) Natural Brown Bulk Play Sand for Arts and Crafts, Sandbox, Moldable Sensory Toys for Kids Ages 3+

I have a stressful job. My boss has 7 children and he said I should try it because you can mold it and make art with it. I did order it and it sets in a round flat plate on my desk. I do use it to make things or just to roll in balls. It is relaxing. Some of the truckdrivers who come in my office play with it too. Makes it fun.

My grandson loves it. I bought a 36" x 17", shallow crate with a cover, which fits nicely on the build-in bench on the deck. ( I store the crate in the house, but he's not allowed to play with it inside.) I bought a bunch of mini sand toys and he'll spend two or three hours building sand castles, or "moving earth" with the mini trucks, plows and excavation equipment. Any spillage is easy to clean and I know people allow indoor play, but being on the deck also gets him out in the fresh air - and dropped sand can just be swept off the deck or bench. It's very cool stuff! It is a little pricey. And, if you buy it in colors - it's just like play dough and ends up all mixed together - but it's all still good.

We won’t go back to any other brand of kinetic sand. I waited to review this for quite some time but this is the best! I’ve left this uncovered for a while and it still feels so soft and easy to form and play with. No strange smell!

Great product. My daughter can play with this sand in the house and it doesn’t get everywhere. Wish I knew about this earlier!

The product is good (like how you would expect it), but there is a hint of an unpleasant smell in it. If you do not mind a little smell, then its fine.

All of my kids ranging in age from 14 to 7 love this sand. I bought multiple pounds of it and keep it in a tote with a few Play dough toys and they spend hours playing in it. Gets us through the long winter months. Love this stuff!

Love that it’s easy to clean & it wasn’t too much sand. It was the perfect amount for my toddler!

Nice indoor activity for grandkids

I stored this sand in a large dollar store plastic container for a full year and it retained all of its properties when I checked it recently. Great sensory sand for those who need to keep their hands busy. I put it in a larger tub so it could easily be used and stored in the same container. Works like a charm!

Bought this for one of my students but probably would have been enough sand for two in two small sensory bins. Good quality and lasted a while.
