Smells nice, a lot of camphor
This is a classic Shoyeido daily. I was a bit surprised by the Japanese version though. There is a lot more Borneol camphor than in the US version. The fragrance is more refreshing and less sweet. It's still a great incense, just different. I'll be curious to see how it ages as I use up the generous box.

Real Aloeswood scent, Incredible value
Wonderful incense, real aloeswood scent with Shoyeido quality. I love this brand and White Cloud is my favorite, it takes me right back to the temple! And with 450 sticks it’s an incredible value. I bought 2 packs so I would always have it . During these home bound times, it is essential for me and my family to have a positive scent with healing energy floating through the house.

Amazing Products.
Everything Shoyeido makes I have not had a single problem with; The incense are easy to live with day to day. the aroma's they give off are Strong, but easy to be around (not overpowering like cheaper incense). the use of higher quality materials in production are very clear. (beware, the stem style is different from traditional incense; No little wooden stem on bottom, all incense, for all of Shoyeido's products.. Compensate for that before hand and you will love it.)I personally have over 15 different products from Shoyeido and I can say; whether you burn them individually; or try pairing certain ones; they just plain work.

Great product horrible value
Advertised at 30 mins a stick burn time (approximately) reality is about 12 minutes. Expensive for the burn time even with the amount of incense in the box.

Incense for grown-ups
The most expensive of Shoyeido'd "Daily Incense" line and my favorite. Similar to Shoyeido's Five Hills, but deeper, more complex, more "mysterious."LIke fine wines, better-quality incenses also have learning curves, so this incense may be best appreciated after one works through at least 2-3 of the less-expensive incenses in the Daily Incense line before hitting the Haku-Un, the top of the line. Really, I've bought expensive incense and thought it smelled like smoldering firewood, put it away for a few months while refining my discernment with lesser incenses, then returned to the stashed expensive stuff and find that it's like a light has been turned on in a formerly dark room . . .

Delicate white cloud incense
Shoyeido's hakuun (white cloud) incense is one of my favorites, my other favorite being gozan (5 hills). The package arrived in good condition. The incense is somewhat fragile so the packaging is important, otherwise you get broken incense sticks. Hakuun has a delicate scent, not perfumy or over-powering. I use it for meditation, and to time the meditation. It takes about 30 minutes for one stick to burn.
