Only just opened this gift. Liked the smell and the texture but after 3 uses there was an air pocket and nothing beneath. Only cream around the edges.The jar disguised the weight and the content was less than half what should be there. Disappointed as I have passed the return date

Please note this review is written by my wife.Essence Anti-ageing day and night cream by EssenceI’ve been using this cream for two weeks and like Essence says this moisturiser has a light texture. Almost 60 my skin is normal and now has lines and some age spots. This cream works well as an all-round moisturiser, is light and easy to use and readily absorbed. A little goes a long way and it is pleasant to use.Lightly scented without having an unnatural scent, made with a plant formula including edelweiss which it says acts like an anti-oxidant, this cream is advertised as reducing wrinkles and providing a restructuring effect. I’m not clear on what restructuring effect the cream is supposed to have, but during the two weeks of usage, whilst my skin was very well hydrated there was no visible difference to wrinkles and glad to say no restructuring, whatever that means.Priced at £25.00 as a moisturiser it compares relatively well to similar priced creams, though its ‘anti-aging’ properties were not realised for me. It now also seems to be outdated to be calling a cream anti-aging when there is so much discussion and debate about presenting more positive attitudes to aging. The packaging is also a little outdated for me, but I suspect designed to give a high end, type of appeal with its classic glass jar and gold lidWould I buy? Maybe at a cheaper price point as it does the job of a moisturiser well and is refreshingly these days billed as both a day and night moisturiser, although being someone who is approaching aging with appositive mind set the promoted anti-aging stance would ultimately put me off.

This jar of cream arrived securely packaged and in perfect condition.This is a new to me brand.I have tried many face creams, all claiming pretty much the same results, some have been average, some really good.Thankfully this one is in the good category.It's a nicely presented pot, with a doll's house sized spatula for applying (i prefer using clean fingers).You don't need to use much at all so the pot should last quite a while.It smells nice, nothing overpowering, but if you have very sensitive skin i would advise double checking the ingredients list.I haven't had any reaction to it.It absorbs quickly and thoroughly, and leaves my skin surprisingly soft. I have only used it for a few days but so far I am really pleased.It certainly isn't cheap, but at the moment it's definitely one I would be happy to pay full price for.Obviously if there's any change I will update this review.Currently priced at £35.Thanks for reading, I hope you find this review helpful.

Good day-night cream.This cream is so well presented in a stylish container and a nice box that could easily be given as a gift to your loved one.I have ordered this for my mom and she is quite happy with it.She is using it before bed and once she wakes up and after 2 weeks of usage ,we can see improvements on her skin.The cream has a nice soft texture ,not too heavy .The scent is really nice and fresh ,applying the cream on the face is a real pleasure.Once applied ,you can feel straight away the the moisture .It does seem to absorb quite fast, leaving a soft skin behind.The only down side is the quantity you get.For the price on sale ,I believe the amount of cream you get is not much,hoping these can be improved would probably make me reorder once it has finished :)

This Ecode Natural Essence anti-aging day and night cream has a rich texture but is also surprisingly light. It has a pleasant, subtle scent and absorbs well after a few minutes leaving my skin feeling soft and nourished. It is supplied with a small plastic spatula for applying the cream to your face should you wish to use it, personally I prefer using my (clean) fingers!After 4 weeks of twice daily use I cannot see any difference in my wrinkles or my skin appearing any firmer as the product information claims. On that basis, I am unable to verify the anti-aging properties. It is, however, a pleasant cream to use, is indeed suitable for day or night-time use and my skin certainly feels well moisturised. In addition, although I have fairly sensitive skin I have had no adverse reactions like reddening or burning. 4*

This is a nice enough moisturiser, with a pleasant scent and texture. It soaks in well, and leaves my skin feeling moisturised. But I haven't noticed any effects on skin tone or texture. Also, there's no SPF so you'll need to make sure you use a separate SPF in the morning. This cream feels fancy with the glass jar and the little spatula, but I can't say whether it is worth the money.
