Comfortable walking boot
Nice walking boot, finally! I have a broken forefoot, right behind 4th toe. The whole top of my foot hurts because of this break and I can not bear weight on it fully yet. This boot is very comfortable, the air pockets are not only around the ankle, but run down the sides of the foot about half way. I do not have to use extra padding around the top of the foot like other boots, but it feels secure and protected. The boot has a rocker bottom, but not huge, great point for my type of break. It has a built in pad at the ankle and foot in the front. It also comes with 4 extra pads. Nothing is cutting into my skin. The boot seems well made, removable inside for cleaning. The heel is not too high. One of my other boots the heel was too high and was causing my other knee to hurt because of the walking gait. The dimensions in the details are not correct. The heighth of this boot is around 9"-10". I got the xs, I wear a 7 1/2-8 regular boot-shoe. The picture will show you where my foot is in the walking boot while standing. If you wear an 8-1/2 or 9 (women's) shoe I would pick a size small. Use a tape measure and measure your foot! It does take a minute to get on and off, there are no quick release tabs, but a small price to pay for the comfort of the boot. Hope this helps someone. An honest review.

Sooo good!
I broke my ankle a month ago, and I was given a walking boot from my orthopedic doctor. The boot was heavy, bulky, it would always lay right where my break was, and be tight there. I have 6-8 more weeks of NWB so I wanted to get a boot that would be more comfortable! This is it! Man this boot is lightweight, hold the foot so stable and secure and is comfortable! Luxury! 100% worth it! The only the is, the top plastic piece was glued/taped to the liner and that came detached the first day, which is why I gave 4 stars. Also, my swelling has gone way down with the new boot! Great product

Glad I made the investment
After my chevron osteotomy, Kaiser gave me a surgical boot that essentially started to fall apart over the course of a week. The boot became more and more, progressively uncomfortable all the way up until a point where I just caved to the idea of buying my own CAM boot... and quite honestly, I'm glad I did. This boot does an infinitely better job of stabilizing your foot and providing enough padding to ensure a comfortable compression fitting. As your foot will swell up or down depending on where you are in the recovery process, it's great to have adjustable air pockets to fine-tune the compression as opposed to adjusting the velcro straps. It felt like going from wooden clogs to sneakers and that's not an exaggeration either. Just look at the heel support for this boot compared to the boot Kaiser gave me. My heel started to dig into the area I identified with a red arrow - with no end in sight. The bottom line... this is a solid buy if you're going to need a CAM boot for any extended period of time.

Lifesaver for me- female, narrow foot and small calf.
I had ORIF for Trimalleolar fracture and syndesmosis repair. After about 10 days in cast, after surgery, I got the option to be recasted or fit in a boot. Since the staples on my ankle were rubbing inside the cast, I thought a boot would give me a more flexibility to fit comfortably. I was set up with a boot at the doctors office. It turned out to be awful. It was big and bulky. It felt so heavy that It hurt from pulling on my foot. It also pushed so hard on the staples that I wanted to scream. I spent that whole night putting every boot available on Amazon in my cart. I ordered 5 or 6 of them. In the meantime, I cut out padding and modified the monster boot enough that the pain wasn’t as bad. I cancelled the boots except for this one. It said it was light and could be delivered soonest with prime. Honestly, I love this boot. What i did differently was order a small (I wear a women’s 9B) I have a pretty slim calf. I realized I wasn’t able to get a snug fit in the monster boot cause it was just too big and bulky. If you use a knee scooter, the CAM pump is on the knee. So that doesn’t work great. I removed the CAM pump for now. And don’t use the front. I plan to put it back together when I start walking. In the meantime, it feels comfortable and I know my ankle is well protected.

Love it...
I'm so glad I got this boot. It was very comfortable. Easy to get on and off. I loved the air pump and how easily you could adjust it throughout the day. I broke my tibia, fibula, and dislocated my ankle. Had surgery and got some screws, had my ankle sewed back on (drs words not mine 🤷♀️), and have a 6 inch screw running inside my bone to connect the bottom part of the bone bc I'm missing about a inch. I'm only saying this so you can judge for yourself if this will be good for whatever you have done. I was scared to wear it at first so I would put it on and just sit around the house to get use to it. I do wish I would've got one of those things to put on your good foot to raise you up since it was about a inch taller. I walk with a limp but it's getting better. So keep that in mind with any boot you get. I also like the color. It was literally the only one I could find that wasn't black and I liked the red on the bottom. It was good quality and still looks really good for how much I walked in it. It went all the way up to right below my knee and was comfortable.

Straps not user friendly.
I bought this boot for injury to my left foot. My problem is that the 2 lower straps are permanently attached to the boot on the right side of the boot. There are slots on the outside of the boot for attachment of the straps. These slots are very hard to reach and put the strap through. If I had a right foot injury they would be fine. The sole of the boot is hard. I removed the sole of an old boot and inserted it on top of the boot sole. I also traded out the top strap for a more convenient buckle on one side with pull through slot. I feel the boot is priced high enough to be better configured and to have a better insole.
