Uninex ED-3C Indoor/Outdoor KOOLZONE Mobile Spot Cooler Duct, Cool Air Extension, 5-Inch Diameter, for N407-TC, SAC-3000 and SAC-4500, 10-Foot

I use this cooler daily in an auto service shop. The shop temp is usually 90-100 degrees with high humidity. The cooler provides a nice stream of cool air to my desk area. This cooker is designed to spot cool the area that it blows on and it works great for my needs. It's not designed to cool down the 100 degree shop, but it does cool the area where it blows. The cooler is easy to use - plug it in and turn it on. The expandable vent that blows the cool air could be a little sturdier. I can usually run the cooler for about 5 hours before I need to empty the drain tank. Overall, a good cooler to provide a cool space in a hot environment.

Bought this to keep me comfortable on the front porch during the Florida summers while I make Internet's and smoke cigars; it worked almost as well as I hoped.The bad: I wish it got a bit cooler. It does a nice job and for the most part does what I hoped. There were a couple days that a few degrees cooler would have made the difference but it still.did a great job as I would have been too uncomfortable to sit out for a few hours.The good: it blows a large amount of cool, dry, air that is very directional - a foot in either direction and you will loose the bubble of comfort. The condensation reservoir is substantial and generally will allow me to run it for 3 or so hours - in Florida humidity - before needing to be emptied. The wheels make it easy to move around; it is a bit heavy to lift but not unmanageable. I often make phone calls and conference calls while on patio and the unit is not so noisy to be noticeable or hamper patio conversion.If you are looking to solve a similar problem, this unit works very well.

I cannot express how happy I am with this little unit!I am able to stay cool in the garage while working at the bench, I can adapt this to a 3" hose and run it into our tent while camping, and I made a plenum that directs it into my teardrop camper when I am doing weekend trips.It can keep my ShelterPod cool on a summer night with 5 people sleeping in it, all without the condensation and water of a swamp cooler of the same size.It is expensive, but totally worth it for the size and value.

Definitely not worth the money. I paid over $600.00 with taxes & bought a warranty. The exhaust is hot, but there's no where for it to go but inside. It defeats the purpose. Definitely not recommended. Especially for this outrageous price. It only points at 1 person. Ridiculous! This product needs to go back!!!

I would recommend it for outdoor use .... this a/c unit does blow out the hot air from the coils on the side of the unit so using indoors is somewhat tricky but see the attached image for the proof of performance on a very humid Tennessee afternoon. For a tent or canopy it is very close to paradise on a hot sticky day!!!

I had my doubts about this item. I mean how could it possibly make a difference in our 90+ degree warehouse?Here's what we're dealing with. I spend a few hours a day sitting at a desk in a HOT Florida warehouse. The summer heat can be stifling. How can you work with that intense heat? It's not easy! So I figured I'd try this portable AC - maybe it might help.To my surprise, it's a breath of fresh air. Or should I say a breath of cool breeze? Don't get me wrong - it's not like I'm sitting in an air-conditioned room. But the cool breeze blasting at me is downright refreshing! It makes my time sitting at a desk in a blazing hot Florida warehouse tolerable. What a relief... I'm extremely pleased!

The unit was delivered promptly and I set it up to cool a 12 x 9 foot exercise room in the basement. I set it up in the adjoining furnace room space and ducted the cool air into the target room through the wall using items I purchased at Home Depot. Fixed is my heat and humidity problem when using the treadmill. It doesn't feel like a meat locker, but it maintains the pre-workout 70 degrees pretty well. I just installed it only a week ago, so I cannot speak to longevity of the product.

Definitely cools things down and quieter than I expected.
