this rice cooker is pretty sleek. design is beautiful
this rice cooker is pretty sleek. design is beautiful. however, that pinkish exterior is all plastic so while beautiful to look at, looking up close and touching, it feels pretty cheap, especially considering this hefty price tag. To pay $620 for design? turns out that was a mistake. to each his own though i guess.being a korean and having these rice cookers as literal essential in the kitchen, we've gone through various cookers from ancient jojirushi electric heating to pressured, to this cuckoo induction etc. There is honestly no difference in how the rice comes out as long as it is a pressured cooker. I did notice the IH cookers cook the rice with more texture, but that is about the only difference. If you prefer that, i guess great, but if you dont or have no preference (this is me), cheaper electric heating pressure cooker will serve you just fine. All the added vacuum heating, touch navigation, colored screen, everything else is just a gimmick at best. the touch slider thing is so gimicky and slow to respond, its like messing with a 90's electronic with something worse than ancient resistive touch tech. the responsiveness of the menu using that is so slow and all the touch buttons below are so sensitive to touch just by moving the cooker around, it'll initiate re-heat, etc. navigating through its menu is seriously frustrating.while it does do its job of cooking rice fine, $620 is a serious serious waste of money on this. get the cheapest IH cooker if you want IH, if not, any other pressure electric cooker will serve you just fine if you just want a simple functioning rice cooker. all the cheaper cookers can do various cooking functions just as well if you have the recipe. there really is no difference in how these cookers function from 20 years ago to today.be a smarter buyer and do not buy into the marketing hype/gimmick

Not worth the money!
Bought this product three years ago and one day just suddenly stopped working! Contact the seller about it, just totally ignored my message.

liner starts peering off
after a couple years, rice contains a little bit smell of burning and the bottom layer kind of overcooked. The liner starts peering off and seems like the non-stick coating is off. Always do it carefully with plastic or wood tools, hand washing, no scratches on the surface but peering off.
