These are great no matter what filter type you have, weather it’s a canister or a hang on back filter I have these in both. The more space you have for bacteria the better. They have been in my tanks for a few months now and all of my fish are healthy with good water parameters

Great Bargin
This is a good deal. I rinsed the balls before use to get the loose sand/dust off. They have no smell to them so I am pretty confident that they will be safe for my fish.

Those are actually smaller than it seems like on pictures. But I don't mind cz smaller ball means more surface area for beneficial bacteria to be grown!
