I ordered these empty capsules because I wanted to try mixing my own herbal supplements and vitamin combinations. Also, some medicines that simply don't taste good, like milk of magnesia, would be better tolerated by me in capsule form. I chose the bright orange color so that I could easily tell my own homemade capsules apart from the commercial vitamin supplements I also take. This 00 size capsule is about the size of a standard fish oil capsule and, according to the internet, holds about 735 mg of powder. This is my first attempt at filling empty capsules, so I will be doing this by hand and not with a capsule filling machine. I did a simple test by filling one capsule with granulated sugar and one with powdered cinnamon, and all went smoothly. The capsules were extremely easy to take apart and put back together, and once closed again, the top stayed on well. This container has 1000 empty capsules in it, so I have some room for error, but so far the process seems easy enough.
