I recommend it!
My wife broke her ankle and was instructed to keep her weight off it for a couple of weeks. Before we found this, she had to just hold her leg up in the air when using her walker and that's very tiring. After I installed it, she was much more comfortable, and she felt assured that she didn't have to balance herself like a flamingo all the time. It worked great and was very secure. I highly recommend it.

Description full of lies
This padded sling is neither padded nor a sling. The company's product description says the resting platform has a 2" foam pad that is both comfortable and reduces pressure sores while in reality there is a 1" completely unpadded chunk of rigid foam which is not comfortable and impossible to tolerate long enough to develop a pressure sore anyway. "Attaches easily to any walker" is also a lie. Their instructions are terrible, the straps slide all over the place, and it took a heck of a lot longer to attach it than the "seconds" the manufacturer claims it does. It was a lot easier to assemble a KneeRover scooter. Worst of all, once you try to use it, it becomes very apparent that it's not stable at all. Amazon shouldn't allow junk like this to be sold in the guise of medical devices without any warnings. And it's too bad because this is a great concept if it were designed appropriately instead of something with the comfort and stability of a piece of plywood held in place with duct tape.

It works but limits range of motion of the good leg.
It takes a lot of trial and error to set up and make stable enough. It tries to wander forward leaving your leg sliding backwards. I was expecting something that would be as supportive as a knee scooter. It didn't have to be as hard as my knee scooter, just really supportive. I was hoping this set up would allow me to be closer to the sink and be able to "walk" my self backwards to use the commode, as a knee scooter does not work well for a bathroom and can't turn around and when you have to use the bathroom in the awkward hours of the night it's so much easy to use a walker to get in and out of the bathroom. I had high hopes for this as I was using the walker for more stability than crutches but I really need that bad leg support to do my bathroom things comfortably. The other issue is having to strap it across the unit as the strap gets in way of your good leg impeding it's range of motion. If you are good at only moving a couple inches at a time you will be fine. I could not as it also makes you not be able to get the back walker legs off the floor enough and you end up dragging items with the back legs of the walker or get caught on the smallest of edges like lipped tile.

Works but not to my preference
It is not the fault of the Knee Sling. I am sure it is working fine. I cannot use it comfortably with either of my two walkers. One walker will not support the full weight of my right side (I weigh 180#). The other walker has a fold up platform for sitting that will not stay folded up. I also find my movement is almost as restricted as without the support of my knee. I have a knee rover that works much better for me. It is really a matter of personal preference. For this Sling, shipping was fast and it was packed well. I was not able to open most of the clamps myself, due to arthritis, but my husband was able to. Together we had the sling installed in about ten minutes or less. On the one walker, like the one pictured, I could hardly get it to move, so ended up hopping along anyway. The other walker has four wheels, and it moved, quite well, but the seat was continually falling in the way. It also did not feel as solid and stable as I like. I decided to keep working with my knee pony (kneel on roller).

Adds considerable versatility to the walker if you have a leg cast
I have been using this device now for 3 weeks post foot/ankle surgery. The platform allows you to rest your affected leg, and can be used both while rolling forward with the walker (a little dicey, but it works), or just when you're standing still. Nowhere near as fast as a knee scooter, but considerably more stable than crutches--and you get that resting position, which is nice. It's important to check the position of the straps before each use, as these can slide off the handles pretty easily. You don't want that to happen during use.I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 simply because it's a little bit trickier to use than the walker alone, and there is the potential for mishap. Nevertheless, this is an intuitive and useful addition to the walker for those who need to be non-weight-bearing on one leg.

Install it correctly so that the base that your knee rests on is level.
For myself, I thought that this was a lifesaver as far as getting around. It takes all the stress off of your leg and as much easier to get around with a walker. As far as I’m concerned, it’s a must have for a walker.

Don't think you might just try it, you can't return it.
Very hard to get knee on for an older individual. I thought I would have my mother try it, but she can not use it and it can not be returned. No functional at all.

Great buy!!
I received my knee sling today. Attached it to a walker I purchased at Goodwill for $7. It works wonders. I practice using it before my foot surgery in two weeks. Its soft and stay in places. I could actually hop around on one foot with out the slings but the sling makes it easier and allows me to rest my leg if needed. The walker holds up to 300 lbs . I guess it depends on the strength of the walker too. UPDATE: (6/24/19) After using for 1 week I had to put a small pillow on it because it started to hurt my knee/ front leg. Other than that its a life saver. Use a pillow in the being and you will be fine.
