What smell? Although I did not encounter one, it is always my habit to rinse and dry all items purchased (whether it is undies, blouses, etc.) before using (no matter where I bought the item(s)).

Q: I love the design, but there are two pictures? Which one is it?

The one I recieved was like the picture above but a little more orange and definatly more vivid. I get the impression there might be some natural variation in the colours because of how its made. Its georgeous I really like it. Its pretty big and it would almost need a room of its own

Q: My ceilings aren't very high. Has anyone had a problem with it being too long?

Not at all. It hardly covers a twin bed end to end so I'm sure it won't be too long for you.
