It's loud!
Not sure what others are talking about when they say the bell is small and not very loud. It's quite the opposite. It's almost embarrassingly loud! and is of a size that would be appropriate for a full grown cow. I use this on my 140lb Great Pyrenees to alert bears on the trails we go for walks on.

Great quality
I have a puppy that tends to bolt when we are hiking in the woods. This bell has been the best thing since sliced bread. I've used others but they didn't have the sound and resonance that this Country Cow Bell does! Sure my dog looks and sounds like a goof but... "if the shoe fits". More importantly... I can always track him down!It also wears really well even after getting wet. The leather is VERY durable and doesn't tend to shrink like most.

Just a bell
Hello. I hope this finds everyone well. I use these small cow bells around my two dogs on thier collars. It works great. Especially when they get that wandering spirit.

There's better
The other bell i got on Amazon for cheaper gave of a ring i could hear further away. This one is also bigger. The tone is a little less annoying but i liked the other one i got before.
