Disappointed
Very average product. Way overpriced. The tone controls are very limited in terms of what they add and, at most levels, the resulting coloration in the signal sounds awful. Build quality is acceptable. The unit is very small. The supplied cables are poor. Was expecting so much more from this but was so disappointed that I returned it for a refund. Not recommended. Avoid.

Life to the sound
I don't know what they did it how they did it. I was only expecting some mild EQing to the sound of my smart TV. When I connected this to the Presonus Station BT speakers controller and turned it on... OMG! the sound just came alive! The two little buttons for 'Tone' and 'Loudness' gave the soundstage a huge kick, and the general feel is 'analogue sound'. I can feel the bass on my skin rather than my ears at low volumes. The construction is sturdy, and even when little it is heavy. There's a little hole with colour changing LEDs that work as a VU meter, Very nice touch indeed. Spotify coming out of the TV never sounded this good.

Better than Bellari EQ570!!
I needed an equalizer for my edrum and ps4. I purchase Bellari EQ570 because it is made in america but both of them have the same problem, it cuts off power intermittently so I return both. This one however has better equalization and has more dynamics. It never cuts off like the one I mentioned in the title.

it does what it says but...
if you want to remove noisey buzzing you need a portable usb power bank to power this. i cant find a usb port in my home that dosent produce some kind of buzzing noise when i use it to power this BUT my portable usb power bank. does the best that way with that in mind know this as well; in optimal conditions i cant seem to request much more than 60% of the volume before begining to puckup noise from this device. i do fix this by amping the signal further after this unit with another device before i send the signal into the recording device. other than the slightly low volume limit it does well. the nobs move at the same resistance with a nice all metal body. for the price i would have appreciated an included quiet power suppl for this unit, or if it is even possible to make this unit in a way that scrubs the power supply coming in to remove the noise. 3 stars bc it was not cheap and has one job of processing audio, dosent seem like alot to ask it to do that quietly out of the box without a special usb power bank just for it.
