I was skeptical if I could do it myself as easily as the YouTube video but I had no problem ...
I had Luxury Vinyl Plank floors installed a few months ago and a couple of the planks developed small gaps between them in an area that was very noticeable. I guess the floating floor moves a little with the weather. Anyway, while researching if and how the gaps could be repaired, I saw a YouTube video that used this tool to close the gaps. I was skeptical if I could do it myself as easily as the YouTube video but I had no problem at all. The tool works GREAT! After putting the suction cup tool down on the plank, I tapped on the tool with a mallet about 3 or 4 times and the plank easily moved back in place! The tool didn't leave any kind of marks on the LVP. I feel better knowing I have this tool on hand in case any more gaps appear in the future. For less than $15. this tool is a really cheap way to DIY. The tool itself is very well made of sturdy metal and the suction cups have a strong grip. I saw other similar tools made of plastic that were about the same price but, I'm sure they don't hold up as well as this aluminum one. I highly recommend it for floor repairs!

Outstanding Laminate Flooring Fix
I purchased this to repair end gaps in my laminate flooring. The installer had done a repair several years ago but the gaps came back. I found a ‘Gap Fixer’ online but didn’t wish to spend $50 for it. I thought a suction cup of some sort might work. A search on Amazon turned up this tool. There were several reports and reviews discussing laminate repair using it and a couple of videos, so I thought I would give it a try. IT WORKS GREAT!!!!! The price was low enough to try as a experiment so it was ordered and received in two days (Prime!:-) My concern was that we have ‘hand scraped’ laminate flooring with some texturing to it. The tool sticks super as long as you keep the crumbs and dust off the floor and the suction cups. Just have a damp cloth to wipe off the floor and cups before each use. I repaired all of my gaps the same afternoon that I received the tool. I also put a small line of Elmers Wood Glue in each gap before hammering them together and wiped up the excess. Make sure to scrape, brush, vacuum out any debris in the gaps before closing the gaps. Remember that as you close one gap it will create another at the other end of the board and eventually you will get to a wall. Make sure that the LAST board on the row you are moving is long enough to accommodate at least ONE of the suction cups to be able to close the LAST gap. In other words move the gap towards the wall that has the LONGEST board at the end of that row. Since the board lengths are staggered you may need to move the gap one direction on one row and the opposite direction on either the next row or two. If you have a very short board at the end of a row you will either need to disguise/cover it with furniture or pull off the baseboard or quarter round to pull it closed with other tools.

Awesome -- does the job far better than the single cup versions
This handle was vital to removing window panes from their sashes after dislodging the silicone seal holding them in. It was also perfect for 'centering' or adjusting the position of the pane after in the sash before the silicone set. This was such a good value and this suction handle worked so well. I like this double suction cups with the handle design far better than the single suction cup with a smaller handle -- not really a handle but a ring and not easy to get the proper grip. Have to have 2 of these singles and is workable for a single worker. Need that double cup suction handle. Disperses across a greater portion of the glass than a single cup and can carry large plates of glass by yourself - using two. Thanks Qadira and Amazon for easily offering this handle and bringing it to my door within 2 business days -- just in time for the job.

Solid tool with excellent adhesion
This glass puller is well made. Sturdy construction with nicely integrated suction cups made of good material. The handles have a good diameter, so they fit the average hand well without feeling like one is only gripping with fingers. It is well set for flat surfaces. As such, my only disappointment was its use on automotive glass. Many windshields have a bit of curvature to them. The solid nature of this tool and its perfect alignment actually work against it in these applications. If I could suggest any improvement, it would be to incorporate a mechanism just above the suction cup which would allow the very slightest of off angle movement. Even a degree or two of motion would be helpful and would not change its solid feel.

Worked great for a short time
This was purchased to tighten up some joints after replacing some damaged luxury vinyl planks. It gripped very well and worked great...for 4 applications. On the fifth, one of the levers snapped at the base rendering that side useless. Amazon sent a replacement that I only had to apply a couple times to finish the job. So would be a great value if the levers were stronger; hopefully it was just a defect and not a design flaw but the project is over and hopefully won't have to be repeated anytime soon.

Solid and strong!
Updating after a few years of use; This tool has been reliable and worked great, still 5 star rating in my book! Glad I spent a few more bucks for this one, but still a great price! And original Review: At first I was going to save a few more bucks buying the cheaper plastic one, but then as I studied the reviews I read where someone had dropped the plastic one on concrete and it had broken.... granted you dont want to drop these items as the suction must remain perfectly straight.... but still, I like my tools to last and last. I ordered this and it came promptly, looking it over the quality and heft of it feel excellent and you want something reliable when moving glass, so I was gratified. I then clamped it on my window and left it there for a couple days, solid as a rock, I think 48 hours was a good enough test. Very inpressed here and looking forward to my window installation project. EXcellent at twice the price.

Great floor gap closer, value and quality
Used on plank vinyl flooring to close gaps. Planks had texture and it still worked. Saved me from tacking apart the entire floor. Highly recommend. Thanks.

Worked Quite Well
Item is sturdy and well made. I bought 2 and used them to carry a large sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum panel around and they works quite well. I said quite well and not excellent because in order to engage the suction I had to press it hard against the panel surface (with the other hand on the opposite side of the panel) while trying to flip the suction handle.

Surpassed my Expectations
I bought this, based on reviews, to close some gaps in my laminate flooring that had shown up due to dry air shrinkage after I got a wood stove. I was hopeful, but this surpassed all expectations. It moved every piece of flooring so easily, and had enough power to move a piece of flooring that was underneath the stove. On a whim, I tried to move the metal hearth pad that has never been perfectly straight and it moved that too. The stove weighs hundreds of pounds. This thing will move anything. It was so gratifying that now I want to go door to door and fix everyone's laminate. Highly recommend.
